On 3/07/ 2025, Nikshay Shivir under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was conducted at Pelling HWC under Gyalshing district.
A report of the campaign are as follows:
Total Population screened = 49
Total Vulnerable screened =41
Total Cy-TB done= 15
Total X-ray done = 38
(06 presumptive tb, 11 abnormal)
Total Sputum referred = 21

The Objective of Shivir is to conduct TB screening for vulnerable population and early detection through portable X-rays, and AI-based screening to identify undiagnosed cases quickly, including asymptomatic individuals, Cy-tb testing and spread awareness on Tuberculosis under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

National Doctor’s Day:
A day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect on July 1, 2025 at DTC West to honor the dedication, hard work, and selfless service of doctors in our society. The occasion also marked a tribute to Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, whose birth and death anniversary falls on the same day.
On this occasion, DTC Gyalshing extends thanks and gratitute to all doctors for being the beacom of hope and healing in millions of lives.

June 27, 2025, Kaluk Soreng:
TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Tuberculosis-Free India Campaign) a national initiative launched by the Government of India.
Aim:To identify, treat, and support TB patients with the aim of achieving a TB-free India by 2025.

Activity:
Active case finding was conducted by Rinchenpong PHC in support of DTC Gyalshing where portable Xray machine played a vital role in screening symptomatic patients.

Other activity: IEC on Tuberculsosis, and NCD screening to vulnerable groups.
