A Nikshay Shivir one-day camp focused on tuberculosis (TB) screening, diagnosis, and treatment. 100-Day TB Elimination Campaign, conducted Bermiok HW-SC at Martam GPU.
- *Screening and Diagnosis*: Identify high-risk individuals, such as diabetics, malnourished people, smokers, and former TB patients, through screenings and tests.
- *Treatment and Support*: Provide treatment and support services to those diagnosed with TB, ensuring they complete their treatment regimen.
- *Awareness Generation*: Conduct awareness programs, rallies, and cultural activities to educate people about TB prevention, symptoms, and cure.
- *Early Detection*: Identify and treat "missing TB cases," especially in high-risk groups.
- *Reduce Diagnostic Delays*: Minimize delays in diagnosis and treatment, improving treatment outcomes.
- *Public Awareness*: Raise awareness about TB, reducing stigma and promoting community involvement.
Target Groups:
- *High-Risk Individuals*: Diabetics, malnourished people, smokers, alcohol consumers, former TB patients, close contacts of TB patients, and HIV-positive individuals.
- *Community Engagement*: Engage with panchayats, urban local bodies, self-help groups, and village health committees to promote awareness and support.
