Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, ethical business practices, and philanthropy.
Ratan Naval Tata (28 December 1937 – 9 October 2024) was an Indian industrialist and former chairman of Tata Groups.
As a renowned businessman and chairman of Tata Sons, Tata’s strategic acquisitions and focus on innovation propelled the Tata Group into new markets, establishing it as a respected name worldwide.
In the 1970s, he initiated The Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College project, laying the foundation of one of India's premier healthcare institutions.
