Feeling your baby move is one of the most reassuring signs of a healthy pregnancy. But how do you know what’s normal?
✅ Normal Fetal Movements
👉Usually start around 18–25 weeks of pregnancy
👉Feel like flutters, kicks, rolls or swishes
👉Become more regular and stronger as the pregnancy progresses
👉Most noticeable after meals or when you lie down
🚩 When to Be Concerned
☝️Sudden decrease in movement
☝️No movement felt by 24 weeks
☝️Fewer than 10 movements in 2 hours after 28 weeks (especially when baby is usually active)
📞 Don’t wait — If you notice reduced or no fetal movement, contact your doctor immediately.
