On the directions of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara, North Kashmir Nursing Home & Hospital, Handwara, in collaboration with the BMO Office Zachaldara, organized a Free Medical Camp today on 24-09-2025 at AAM-SC Ahgam under the banner of “Swastha Nari, Sashakta Parivar Abhiyan”.
During the camp, comprehensive health screening of the local population was conducted by a team of doctors and paramedical staff. Special emphasis was laid on the health and well-being of women in line with the objectives of the Abhiyan. Patients were examined for various ailments and necessary medical consultations were provided. A wide range of free medicines was also distributed among the beneficiaries to ensure timely treatment and relief.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from the local community, who appreciated the efforts of the health authorities and North Kashmir Nursing Home & Hospital for bringing quality healthcare services to their doorstep.
The management reaffirmed its commitment to continue such outreach programs in the future to promote better healthcare access in rural and underserved areas, with a focus on empowering families through women’s health.
