✨ SHISHIKSHA – Bench to Bedside Internship Orientation Programme ✨
The SHISHIKSHA Internship Orientation Programme was successfully initiated on 19-02-2026 at GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, marking an important milestone in preparing interns for their transition from classroom learning to real clinical practice.
This programme reflects the institution’s strong commitment to shaping responsible Ayurvedic physicians who are clinically confident, ethically grounded, and ready to serve society with compassion. SHISHIKSHA truly bridges the gap from bench to bedside, helping students enter professional practice with preparation and accountability.

✅ Day 1 & Day 2 were successfully completed this week with enthusiastic participation from interns.
🔜 Day 6 sessions are being planned with advanced practical orientation and skill development components.
🌿 Day 1 Highlights
The inaugural day focused on introducing interns to institutional policies, professional conduct, OPD & IPD responsibilities, departmental postings, and NABH awareness. Sessions also emphasized patient safety, biomedical waste management, infection control, and pharmacovigilance—laying a strong foundation for safe and ethical clinical practice.
🌿 Day 2 Highlights
Day two provided departmental academic orientation with special focus on Kayachikitsa clinical exposure and OPD/IPD case writing. Panchakarma orientation enhanced practical understanding, while personality development, communication skills, leadership, and counselling sessions prepared interns for holistic patient care and teamwork.
