Immersion bath:Natural way to health, beauty and curing diseases

Immersion bath is one of the prominent bath which is used to rejuvenate, relax and detox the body to improve health, beauty and curing the diseases without side effects.This bath add tremendous amount of energy, vitality and enhance immunity of the body. In natural way of treatment (without using synthetic drugs) the water is used as a super medicine in different ways like in baths, affusions, steam, ice packs, compress and in drinking all sum up in a special branch of nature cure called Hydrotherapy. In rigved it comes "Apsumesomo abravidant vishwani bheshaja somne" that means "God the creator of the world said Water has all properties of super medicine". In many houses people built or arrange a long tub in their bath room but they don't know it's uses and benefits.

Object and effects....
This bath is given to improve the blood circulatory system and give it a boost. The people or patient whose blood circulation is not proper and body parts remain cool then they should find it as a boon to improve their blood circulation. Hot immersion bath activates the sweat and sebaceous glands On sweating body cleanse itself by excreting toxins like urea, uric acid etc. By activation of sebaceous glands Sebum comes which improves the quality of skin add beauty and shine to the skin

Items required
For immersion bath a long tub required so that body may be completely immersed in it.Tub size 6-6.5 feet long, 2-2.5 feet wide and 1.5 feet in height. Two geysers of 25 litres capacity of each required or solar system to have abundance of hot water in absence immersion rods may be used, one air pillow on which the head should rest, two towels one for massaging under water before end of the bath other to be kept on the head.
The tub can be made of Acrylic, fibreglass, marble stone or thick tin of 18 gaze. First two are easily available ready made in the market whose prices varies from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 50,000 or even 1 lakh or more depending on the material, gadgets, fittings provided in the tub. This delux bath tub is called whirlpool bath immersion bath. Apart this bath one can have in his house, Nature cure yog centres, Resorts, Spas, five star hotels provide this facility to their clients health beauty seekers and patients. If a person he or she wants to take this bath himself in his house, a tap of hot water be fitted on one side of corner and the another tap for cold water should be on the upper side of the head to pour cold water on the head.by himself.

Duration: 20-30 minutes
Temp: summer 98-102^F
Temp: winter 99-104-106^F

Procedure
First of all immersion bath tub to be filled about 10 inches height of tub. In the beginning temp of water should be of body temp and a glass of cold water in summer season and luke warm water in winter season be given to the client or patient to drink to avoid dehydration, the head must be kept cool by wetting a small towel kept on head by cold water(60-80) degree Fahrenhei, then person lie down his or her body in water immersed completely. After few minutes the hot water (temp 102-104 degree Fahrenheit) be poured and mixed with hand clockwise round the tub to uniform the temp of the water. If whirlpool bath tub being used then mixing will be automatically done by moving the circulatory motion of water. The temp of water must be kept 99 to 104 degree Fahrenheit so that the person or patient should easily tolerate. Add hot water every 3-5 minutes to maintain or slowly raise the temp of water. Keep the head cool by pouring cold water every 2-3 minutes. After 20 minutes the massage of body under water be given or be given himself by rubbing the all parts of the body. This opens the pores of the skin, detox and cleanse the body if any person or patient have problems of spondylitis, sciatica, lumbago, arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis then it's better to mix 1-2 pounds of Epsom salt or 1 kg of common salt in the water. This salted water eases the stiffness, tension of the muscles, tissues and nerves. At the end this bath should be finished by cold shower bath (immediately after rising from the tub) in winter 3 minutes and in summer for 5 minutes
The effect varies according to the temp and duration of the bath.The hot immersion bath 102-104-106^ F beneficial in many diseases.

Indications: Obesity, cold and cough, sneezing allergic bronchitis, allergic bronchial asthma, gout, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, eczema, leucoderma, Parkinson's disease, dermatitis, backache, lumbago, sciatica, psoriasis, spondylitis, cystitis, epididimitis, glomerulonephritis, prostatitis, metabolic disorder, diabetes mellitus and insipidus, insomnia, indigestion, dyspepsia, spermatorrhea, dysmenorrhoea, Ammenorrhoea, leucorrhoea, cerebrospinal meningitis

Contraindications: cardiovascular disease, brain congestion, asterosclerosis, cerebral apoplexy, cardiac weakness, cardichypertrophy

Exercise to stay young&live long life
A preventive medicine

It is good to see that more and more people are becoming conscious about their health and beauty. To maintain health two major factors the natural diet and exercise are essential to be in orderly routine to make our life happier, with full of vigour, confidence. Most of us are not aware about their food habits and exercise. Regular exercise constitutes a tremendous effect on improving our social economical and quality of life.
One of the greatest cause of illness isto be found in continued inactivity resulted in heart becomes weaker, blood flows sluggishly through the body. Our sedentary life style is inviting more and more diseases. Exercise is systematic movements of body parts repeatedly. In ayurved Charak said "Dharmarth kam moksham arogya mulmutmam" means moral duties, finance-money, love and even liberation from death and rebirth can not be achieved without good health.

Types of exercises
Active exercises like running, Aerobics, sports, swimming etc.
Free exercises like weight training with different instruments like dum bell bar, springs, weights etc.
Passive exercises are like walking and yog postures. Morning and evening walk is safest for all ages of people young, old,children, women etc. Time-45 to 60 miinutes are sufficient for it, If one is living in crowded places far away from garden or nature he/she can take help of motorised or mechanical Walker parallel to earth, for walk and even run .
Yoga postures which is based on stretching of all muscles and joints of the body is an ideal exercise for all ages of people.

How to do exercise
Exercise should be done systematically. Beginners start slowly with warmup. Speed should be slowly increased and after peak it should be slowly decreased. Weight training exercises should be practiced under the trainer, people should avoid artificial health supplements, drinks, powders etc. Instead diet should be included with protein rich food like nuts, seeds, dry fruits, sprouts, milk and milk products for body building.

Effects of exercise on body
(Skeletal system)
In the joints there are tissues in the surface of which rub against each other. Exercise improves the movement of joints resulted in its mobility and flexibility. Overdose of calcium does not deposited.so exercises prevent and beneficial in spondylitis, backache, gout, rheumatism etc. Bones by exercise gets more nutrition. So the old age common problem osteoporosis being eliminated .
Respiratory system.

Doing exercise our breathing becomes deeper resulted in consumption of more and more oxygen to lungs from where it reaches to blood and cleanse it also excrete carbon dioxide,lactic acid from the body. Exercise expands the size of chest. As lungs being expand and contract so cough being expelled so it is beneficial in cold, cough and asthma. Exercise also control the temp of the body.

Muscular system.
In our body there are about 500 muscles which protect our body organs. People who do not exercise there muscles become weaker and their capacity to do work is re****ed. Exercise develop our muscles the bulk of muscles increase their size become stardy and attractive.The body fat can

Blood circulatory system
Exercise put the blood in the veins and arteries get boosted and blood circulation enhanced which induces warmth and color to the skin. Due to hypoxia erythropoietin secreted which increases RBC production, beauty to skin and beneficial in anemia. It is also helpful to maintain blood pressure.

Digestive system
Exercise improves the digestion and increases hunger for food. Assimilation of food properly established. Massage of intestines takes place and function of liver enhanced to excrete proper juices for digestion, so beneficial in Anorexia and Dyspepsia.

Excretary system
Exercise improves the peristalsis movement of intestines resulted in proper elimination of f***s so it is beneficial in constipation. By exercise sweating takes place so through skin unwanted urea, uric acid being excreted.

Difference between yoga &other exercises
There are different form of exercises which may helpful to achieve the goal but yog is an ideal system of exercise
1. It is useful and beneficial for large number of people youth, adult, women children, old and weak people.
2. Yogasan requires less energy and person does not get exhausted after performance.
3. Yoga postures do not require costly instruments and appliances it can be practiced by an individual or group in room, hall, lawn or ground if number of participants are large.
4.In other exercises pressure on nervous system is more compare to yoga postures where pressure is on particular part of the body and rest of the body being relaxed. After doing every yogasan relaxation for few minutes required. It acts as sedative to calm the nerves which being absent in other exercises.
4. Yoga effect on glandular system there capacity increases to secretion resulted in rejuvenating the body, increases tolerance to stress and delays the aging process of body.
5. Resting heart rate, decreases respiratory rate, with pranayam ability of blood to absorb and carry oxygen more to purity the blood resulted in improved blood circulation
6. Yoga postures act as medicine, as digestive system improves diseases like anorexia, dyspepsia, Diabetes, gas formation, constipation being cured or relieved.
7. Yogasans improves the flexibility and mobility of spinal chord to maintain youthfulness also act as a preventive medicine against spondylitis, backache.

Excessive stress, Depression and mental tension become a great health hazard but yog equally useful in this regard. Yoga postures, Pranayam, relaxation and meditation shows a positive beneficial effect to make the mind peaceful and free from tension.

Mahrishi Patanjali in Yogdarshan shows the pure real, pious dharm for mankind is ashtang yog to lead a happier, peaceful life. For a month or minimum 15 days one can practice yoga under guidance of an expert after that one can do himself.

Precautions.
1.Before exercise bowels,bladder stomach should be cleared.Best time
Morning 5 to 7 and evening 5 to 6 p.m
2. Regularity should be followed.
3. Proper clothing or tracksuit according to season should be weared 4. Exercise room should be well ventilated in natural surroundings slightly warm for yoga and a mat or woolen blanket should be laydown on floor for exercise.
5. Adequate rest between and after exercise is essential
6. The body should not be overworked to cause fatigue and tiredness.
7. In practicing yogasan it is better to start with Surynamaskar(set of 12 postures at least for 4-5 times) for warm up.
8. Caution for every forward bending yoga posture immediately a backward bending posture should be practised. People who had backache problem should avoid doing forward bending to avoid spinal degeneration
9. For the beginner's it is better to start with easy set of yogasans group after practicing well switch with the middle group and after mastering them at last practice higher group of asanas.
10. Patients who had particular diseases or problems, for them there are different sets of yogasan, pranayam
and shatkarms. They should take the help of an expert, competent physician or nature care doctor.

Contraindications
Cardiovascular disease, Angina pectoris, strenous exercises in all cases of where history of surgical operation done, Tuberculosis of lungs, cancer, Bronchial asthma, Inflammation of internal organs, fevers, acute muscular skeletal disease, during menstual period.
