Effective Natural Remedies for Constipation:
Flax Seeds
Dosage:1 tbsp (approx 10–15g) ground flax seeds
*Preparation:* Boil in 250 ml water, let cool slightly, then drink whole—don’t strain the gel
*Benefits:* Forms a mucilaginous gel that softens stool and helps promote regular bowel movements
Tip: Start with 1 tsp/day and increase gradually; stay well hydrated
*Soaked Fig (anjeer)*
*Dosage:* 1-2 dried figs
*Preparation:* Soak in water overnight (6–8 hours); eat the figs and sip the soaking water in the morning
*Benefits:* Provides insoluble fiber to add bulk and gently stimulate digestion
*Isabghol (Psyllium Husk)*
*Dosage:* 1–2 tsp, starting low
*Preparation:* Soak in 200–250 ml water for 10 minutes until it forms a gel; drink it promptly, then follow with another glass of water
