Effective Natural Remedies for Constipation:

Flax Seeds
Dosage:1 tbsp (approx 10–15g) ground flax seeds
*Preparation:* Boil in 250 ml water, let cool slightly, then drink whole—don’t strain the gel
*Benefits:* Forms a mucilaginous gel that softens stool and helps promote regular bowel movements
Tip: Start with 1 tsp/day and increase gradually; stay well hydrated

*Soaked Fig (anjeer)*
*Dosage:* 1-2 dried figs
*Preparation:* Soak in water overnight (6–8 hours); eat the figs and sip the soaking water in the morning
*Benefits:* Provides insoluble fiber to add bulk and gently stimulate digestion

*Isabghol (Psyllium Husk)*
*Dosage:* 1–2 tsp, starting low
*Preparation:* Soak in 200–250 ml water for 10 minutes until it forms a gel; drink it promptly, then follow with another glass of water
*Benefits:* Swells to create soft stool and helps move things smoothly through the gut

*Warm Milk with Ghee*
*Dosage:* 150-200 ml hot milk + 1 tsp ghee
*Preparation:* Warm the milk, stir in the ghee, and drink before bedtime
*Benefits:* A traditional remedy that gently lubricates the digestive system and supports overnight elimination

*Gulkand with Milk**
*Dosage:* 1 tsp gulkand + 150–200 ml warm milk
*Preparation:* Stir gulkand into warm milk until fully dissolved; consume at night or early morning
*Benefits:* A soothing, mildly laxative tonic rich in antioxidants that softens stool and supports digestive comfort

*_Tips for Safe Use_*
-Increase fiber gradually to avoid bloating or gas.

-Drink plenty of fluids—preferably 2–3 litres daily.

-Start with lower amounts and increase as tolerated.

-Consult a healthcare provider if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, under 12 years old, or taking medication.
