Travelogue-1 - 8Th August 23
Today I have started on yet another journey to a few Eastern European countries. Croatia,Montenegro,Bosnia,
Herzegovina , Slovenia,Austria, Slovakia, Hungary.
I had already visited Slovenia,Slovakia , Hungary in my past travels but this group tour will make me visit these again.
The travel is through Veena world and international flights are from Mumbai to Munich and then to Dubrovnik in Croatia. There will be total 29 passengers including my old travel partner Dr Som Bhaskar from Kolkatta. He will reach Mumbai too. I have chosen Air India flight to Mumbai and back to Delhi to enable me to check in 25 kg bag as same weight is allowed in international flight. Other domestic flights allow 15 kg check in bag.
I shall be visiting 7 countries and 12 cities and will return on 20th.
Most of these countries are parts of erstwhile Yogosalavia . Marshal Tito it’s president was a good friend of Nehru and India always had good relations with these countries.
Croatia -Dubrovnik (2N)

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Slovenia -Ljubljana (1N) - Bled
Austria- Graz
Slovakia - Bratislava (1N)
Hungary - Lake Heviz – Badacsony – Tihany – Balatonfüred
Budapest (3 Nights)
Our tour will start day after tomorrow
As we will reach Dubrovnik tomorrow at 4 pm.
Resuming my note. Now waiting at Mumbai Airport to board for Munich. There our next flight to Dubrovnik will be after about 7 hours lay over period.
We will have a very tiring sleepless journey time of about 36 hours.
