Women doctor Wing , IMA Himatnagar in service to humanity , organized a stargazing event for underprivileged children of 'Mamta Shishu sansthan' with an expert astronomer Vyas who was gracious enough to bring his own telescope and gave an excellent opportunity to the kids to witness the lunar surface closely. Programme was sponsored by Dr Nency - daughter of Dr Heena and Dr Kaushik Shah . Event was hosted by dynamic Dr Sunita Shah.

Thanks to Dr.pujara sir for organising this event in his hospital premises.

We had a wonderful session of informative and social discourse on 6th october at GMERS hospital Himatnagar.

Dr. Falguni Chavda, assistant professor in department of Medicine, one of our dynamic members, was instrumental for the meet. She conceptualized the whole programme. She also gave an extremely informative talk on hemophilia..
Various dignitaries from, Civil hospital and GMERS,attended the meet and shared their views.
Around seventy doctors from above mentioned institutes, attended the talks and showed interest in joining IMA Himatnagar.
We from WDW, are thankful to Dr. Falguni, Dr. Rita madam , Dr. Parul Nayak, Dr dhara and others for their wholesome involvement and making this program a huge success 🙏

Meeting tomorrow at GMERS medical college for a in depth discussion of Haemophillia , post academics we will be explaining the benefits of Women doctor wings IMA membership and various social schemes being run by IMA .

Women doctor wings IMA Himatnagar feels proud to conduct a social outreach Programme to educate the underprivileged girl childs towards healthy, happy & safe life - Empower the Girl Child , Empower the nation .

Programe was arranged in Redcross bhavan - with attendance of 160 girls .

Excellent speeches on various subjects that touches the life of adolescent girls by Dr Parul nayak , Dr Batul Durani , Dr Divya Patel . Program well coordinated by Dr Falguni . Concluding remarks by Dr Rita Sinha mam. All the questions / confusions of the attendee Girls were answered & we sincerely educated them for their puberty related taboos , menstrual hygiene, how to prevent abuse and protect themselves ,

The seeds of confidence were planted in the innocent minds of Girls before they knock the door of womanhood in their next decade.

We sincerely thank Dr Bhupendra Shah sir and Redcross Management for providing redcross bhavan hall as meeting venue for noble cause .

This was our first humble attempt as part of our social responsibility to give right knowledge & right guidance .

Looking forward to conduct many such activities to serve society with benevolence

Glimpse of the fabulous workshop(3rd September 2022 ) on sustainable fashion , mindful dressing with 2 of the most sought after in vogue fashion designers of Ahmedabad Bhavin Trivedi Darshi Shah from Darshi Shah Bhavin Trivedi DSBT Studio

All the ladies had a fun time in the workshop with ramp walk by Pooja Suthar & Darshini Patel ,

as always under able leadership of WDW president Mamta Pathak & office bearers Anita Purohit , Urvashi Kalpesh Patel ,Parul nayak

Programme was attended by almost 80 members, not only from the WDW himatnagar & but 50 special dear invitees from Himatnagar IMA spouse club graced the ocassion with huge presence.

Women Doctor wings of IMA Himatnagar organized an excellent interactive program on Soil enrichment , making soil reacher by bio enzymes , planting plants that heal , basics of garden management in association with NGO Treewalk , Esteemed speakers Green Enthusiasts Dr Lokendra Balasaria, Rini Balasaria wonderfully described every minute details for novice plant enthusiasts of the Himatnagar Wdw . Program hosted by save soil activist & environmentalist our own member Dr Pooja Suthar , under guidance of office bearers Dr Mamta Pathak ,Dr Anita Purohit , Dr Urvashi Kalpesh Patel .

Wonderful programme under able leadership of Dr Mamta Pathak , Dr Anita Purohit , special thanks to Dr Veena Gor mam for inviting speaker on such a short notice. Excellent anchoring by youngest charming member of wdw Dr Priya Agrawal . Thanks to all members of WDW for attending the CME
