Comparative Study of Materia Medica Series :-
(Revised)

1). Aconite Nap has a great distress in the heart and chest while with Belladona,every thing seems to center in the head.

2).Piles in Aloe are relieved by application of cold water. In Muriatic acid,relieved by hot water.

3). Agaricus must stay near the fire while Apis wants to get out of the kitchen.

4). Arsenic has general relief from warmth, Lycopodium is worse by warmth.

5). In Camphor collapse is most prominent: in Veratrum alb. the evacuations and vomiting: in Cuprum Met , the cramps.

6).Bismuth vomits immediately, Phosphorus vomits when water becomes warm in stomach.

7). Camphor has scanty, Veratrum copious stools.

8).Bryonia is aggravated by motion, Rhus tox is relieved by motion.

9).Chamomilla acts more on nerves of abdomen, Belladona more on cranial nerves.

10).Bryonia alb is better by lying on painful side; Rananunculus bulb.worse.

11). Apis is worse by heat ; Apocyanum is worse by cold.

12). Coryza better in open air is Allium Cepa, worse in open air is Sabadilla.

13).Late learning to talk is Natrum mur ; late learning to walk is Calcarea Carb.

14).Aconite is more restless, Bryonia keeps still.

15). Nux vomica is never mild, Pulsatilla is never obstinate.

16). Arsenic wants to cover and Secale Cor
dislikes covering.

17).Arsenic is relieved by warmth; Lycopodium get worse by warmth.

18).Belladona has hot face and skin; Apis is oedematous.

19).Bryonia wants cold drinks; Chelidonium desires hot drinks.

20). Bryonia has free and profuse sweat; Eupatorium perf has scanty.

21).Aethusa has idiocy, Abrotanum irritable and cruel.

22).Ammonium mur has dreams of water, Arsenic has dreams of fire.

23).Aconite has thirst, Pulsatilla is thirstless.

24).Natrum Mur persons has long neck while Kali B**h persons are of short neck.

25).Belladona does not have continued fever; Bryonia has continued fever.

26). Argentum Nit is warm blooded where as Argument met is a chilly remedy.

Tissue Remedy:

5). Calcarea Phos:-

Calcarea phos is a useful tissue remedy which has a special chemical affinity with Albumen and is bones.Hence, Calcarea phos is the tissue remedy for all types of bone disorders, bone deficiencies and is also useful in dentition of the children.It is found in therequired wherever albuminous substances are found in secretions. Hence, Calcarea phos becomes the first tissue remedy anaemia. Without Calcarea phos, there could be ño blood coagulation. Calcarea phos builds up the teeth and bone structure proper, whereas Calcarea Flour is the constituent of the enamel of the teeth and the covering of the gastric juice and helps assimilation and digestion.It is frequently given in alternation with Magnesia phos. In convalescence after acute disease, it is given as a toniç for building ñew corpuscles. Hence, Calcarea phos is useful in the following diseases:-

Deficient bone structure iñ children.
Rickets.
Low birth weight.
Calcium deficiency.
Vitamin D deficiency.
Teething problems.
Slow development in children.
Pregnancy complications.
Numbness,
Hip problem.
Osteoporosis.
Bone trauma,

Tissue Remedy:

1). Natrum Sulph:-

This is biochemic salt removes the excess of water from the system ---- each molecule of it has the power to take up and carry out of the system two molecules of water. This biochemic salt regulates the quantity of the water iñ the living organism.Think of Natrum Sulph when the unwanted water, instead of getting out stays in the body.Liviñg in low, marshy places , damp houses, eating water plants, fish etc. produce water diseases which require Natrum Sulph to set them right. As Malaria and other intermittent fevers origiñate in dampness , they are cured by this biochemic remedy.

Natrum Sulph also works with bile and keeps it normal. It is, therefore, useful in bile complaints, such as , jaundice, biliousness, excess of bile, bitter taste , greenish diarrhoea , vomiting of bile, bilious headaches, vomiting in pregnancy and watery yellowish secretions oñ the skin and yellowish.Hence, it is useful biochemic remedy in the following diseases:-

Liver disorders with bilious symptoms.
Diabetes.
Jaundice,
Malaria.
