VitD is an extremely important vitamin.It functions like harmone affecting many systems. Every single cell has receptor for it.
With sunlight and diet one has to acquire 600-800iu per day.
It is an immune system protector.It affects bone synthesis with calcium.
Its effects on serotonin affects mood changes ,sleep regulation and satiety.
Its deficiency may be the cause of fatigue,tiredness,repeated infections,non healing of wounds,Depression,Back pain and muscle pain,hair loss,obesity.
