Rare presentation of subglottic carcinoma. Patient is undergoing biopsy under General anaesthesia

Patient presented with hoarse voice.Endoscopy revealed proliferative lesion on right vocal cord.This was treated with Transoral CO2 LASER Resection.

Right false cord was excised to expose right vocal cord.

Type IV vocal cordectomy was done.

Elderly gentleman presented with hoarse voice.Endoscopy revealed bilateral glottic carcinoma.Lesion on left vocal cord was infiltrative in nature
This was addressed with transoral CO2 laser microsurgery

Middle aged gentleman presented with difficulty in breathing.

On evaluation large polyp was noted with broad base arising from left midcord

He was treated with Transoral CO2 Microlaryngeal Surgery at 8 wattage. (Type I Vocal Cordectomy)

ಮಧ್ಯವಯಸ್ಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ತೊಂದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒರಟಾದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ವನಿಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೆಡ್ಡೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಲೇಸರ್ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Iatrogenic bilateral vocal cord palsy is a rare complication of thyroid surgery. Here we have a case of bilateral vocal cord palsy with decreased laryngeal airway presenting with weak voice and stridor on exersion. This was managed by vocal cord lateralisation with CO2 LASER.

Vocal cord is transected at tip of arytenoid till inner perichondrium of thyroid cartilage.
