🌊 Aging Comes in Waves – Science Confirms It 🌊
A fascinating Stanford study in Nature Aging (2024) shows that aging isn’t a slow, steady slope — it happens in two big jumps:

🔹 Around 44 – Your body’s metabolism shifts significantly (lipids, alcohol, caffeine processing).
🔹 Around 60 – Major changes occur in your immune system, kidney function, and carbohydrate metabolism.

💡 Knowing when these changes happen can help us take proactive steps — through lifestyle, nutrition, and medical care — to stay healthier for longer.

✨ It’s never too early (or too late) to invest in your health!

🦵💓 Your Calf Muscle is a “Second Heart”!

Did you know? The soleus muscle in your calf is often called the "second heart"—because it plays a vital role in pushing blood back up to your heart, especially when you’re walking or moving.

🛏️ But when you're immobile—after surgery, during long flights, or on prolonged bed rest—this muscle remains inactive, and blood flow slows down.

⚠️ This can lead to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)—a silent clot in the leg that can travel to the lungs and cause a life-threatening pulmonary embolism.

That’s why we strongly emphasize early mobilisation for our post-operative patients.

✅ Walk early
✅ Do leg exercises
✅ Keep your circulation active
✅ Prevent clots

🦵 Keep your "second heart" pumping to protect your real one ❤️

🧬 *BRCA Testing: Guided by Risk, Not Routine* 🗞️As featured in today’s Deccan Chronicle

In today’s article, we explore an important and timely question — *who should consider BRCA genetic testing?*

🔹 Routine testing is not recommended for the general population.
🔹It should be considered only by individuals with a *personal or strong family history of breast, ovarian, or related cancers*.

🗣️ Genetic testing should always be guided by clinical risk—not done out of fear or curiosity.
👉 If you think you may be at risk, speak to your doctor or seek genetic counselling from a qualified cancer genetics expert.

🩺 8 Early Signs of Cancer You Should Never Ignore
Early detection saves lives. In my latest article with Hindustan Times, I explain 8 warning signs that may point to an underlying cancer — including unexplained weight loss, persistent pain, unusual swellings, and more.

🎯 Awareness is the first step toward timely diagnosis and better outcomes.

Losing weight without any changes in diet or exercise can be a red flag for cancers. Chronic fatigue that doesn't improve with rest may also indicate cancer.

Timeless Treasures — A Memory of a Lifetime🙏🏻

Had the rare privilege of operating on a 94-year-old gentleman — the most senior patient in my surgical journey.

At this age, surgery goes beyond medical responsibility — it becomes a chance to relieve suffering, restore dignity, and offer comfort when it’s needed most. We performed it laparoscopically, and he recovered beautifully, pain-free and comfortable throughout. 😊

What made it truly special.. He represents three generations of wisdom and service ⚖️ — a living legacy of values. His gratitude came not just in words, but in heartfelt reflections we’ll always cherish 🥰.

We’re deeply thankful to him and his family for their trust in our team — and to God for this humbling and uplifting experience! 🫶🏽.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

This memory will stay with me for a lifetime😍
