The tragic incident at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College has shaken us all to the core. CSR Eye Hospital stands firmly in solidarity with the Indian Medical Association, demanding justice and ensuring a safer environment for all healthcare professionals.

On 17th August 2024, we will suspend all OPD services and elective surgeries in support of the nationwide protest. We stand together with our fellow doctors, not just in sorrow but in strength, to say enough is enough.

DIGITAL EYE STRAIN/COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME:

Good habits while working on digital screens:

- Blink frequently
- Follow 20/20/20 rule
- Maintain proper posture
- Take care of the room lighting and minimise glare
- AC and fan air should not be blowing into your eyes directly
- Black letters in white background and take care of contrast
- Keep your screen dust and fingerprint free
- Ideally 2 hours before going bed, stop working on all digital screens
- Eat nutritious meals
- Adjust your screen display settings (contrast, brightness and text size)
- Get your eyes regularly checked by an eye specialist
