The perpetrators of this atrocity must face severe punishment, demanded Dr. Arafath Hussna, MBBS, MD General Medicine (Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills), CEO of Rampally Alroyce Multi Speciality Hospital.

Dr. Arafath Hussna has called for strict and severe punishment for those responsible for the horrific murder and r**e of a PG trainee doctor in Kolkata. He made this demand during a protest held at Rampally Alroyce Hospital in Nagaram Municipality on Saturday. The protest included a candle rally from the hospital to Ambedkar Chowrasta, condemning the brutal attack on the doctor.

During the event, Dr. Arafath Hussna expressed deep concern over the alarming rise in crimes such as r**e, sexual harassment, and attacks on medical professionals, women, and children in recent times. He urged both central and state governments to take decisive action against such criminals to ensure they face the strictest penalties, preventing similar incidents in the future and securing justice for women. Following the rally, participants held placards, marched, and observed two minutes of silence in honor of the victim.
