In certain cases of a collapsed vertebra (compression fracture), we can use a minimally invasive procedure to restore stability.

💉 PRP Injections - Know the Facts Before You Commit

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is not a magic solution for every knee problem.

Here’s what patients must understand:

⚠️ Not every “PRP injection” is truly PRP.
Some mix local anaesthesia to give immediate pain relief, but that doesn’t mean healing is happening.

⚠️ Repeated multiple injections into the same knee can:
• Disturb the natural joint environment
• Increase infection risk
• Reduce long-term effectiveness

⚠️ In certain patients (like those with serious heart conditions who are unfit for surgery), PRP may be used only for temporary relief, not as a permanent fix.

Today, PRP has become commercialised.
Many centres promote it aggressively, but clarity of diagnosis and indication matters more than the injection itself.
