ORS Week Celebrated at Patrasahi, Dumpyard Basti, Bhubaneswar

As part of ORS Week celebrations, Bijaya Multi-speciality Hospital, in association with A***n Public School (led by Mrs. Pallavi Ray) and Rabinhood Army Organisation(led by Jayanta Das) , organized a health education session at Patrasahi, Dumpyard Basti, Bhubaneswar.

The program aimed to spread awareness on the importance of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) in the prevention and management of dehydration, particularly in children affected by diarrhea and vomiting.

The collaborative effort involved health professionals, volunteers, and educators who conducted interactive demonstrations, shared practical tips, and distributed free ORS packets to the local residents.

This joint initiative reflects the power of community partnerships in promoting preventive healthcare and saving lives through simple yet effective interventions like ORS.
Also emphasized early intervention, hydration, and public education in reducing child mortality due to diarrheal diseases.

🦷👶 International Self-Care Day Celebrated with Dental and Pediatric Health Check-Up
On the occasion of World Self-Care Day 2025, a free dental and pediatric health check-up camp was organized in collaboration with A***n Public School. The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of self-care, especially among children and parents.

Doctors from Bijaya Multi-speciality Hospital conducted comprehensive oral health and child health screenings for students. The program included:

Dental check-ups by Dr Subhasis Pattanayak to promote oral hygiene

Pediatric consultations by Dr Bijayalakshmi Jena to monitor growth, nutrition, and general health

Health education sessions on personal hygiene, healthy diet, and self-care routines
