Iam delighted and honored to share that Germanten Hospitals was awarded as Centre of Excellence for Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement in Telangana by the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, at the prestigious India Health Summit 2025, hosted at HICC Novotel, Hyderabad.
The summit, organized by Times of India, Times Now, and The Economic Times, revolved around the theme: “Transforming Healthcare in Telangana through Innovation & Accessibility”—with a strong focus on sustainability, technology adoption, and affordable healthcare for all.
Special Address was given by Hon’ble Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma on
“Future care: Innovation-Driven Healthcare Leap “
A special address was delivered by Dr. Dilip Bhanushali, President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), who emphasized the urgent need for systemic reforms in India's healthcare landscape. He called for increasing healthcare spending from the current 1.2–1.5% of GDP to at least 5%, aiming to boost rural infrastructure and strengthen preventive care.

On February 2, 2025, I was honoured to serve as the Chief Guest at the Ball Badminton State Tournament at Manikonda. It was a privilege to witness firsthand how sports instil discipline, boost confidence, and foster a strong sense of team spirit.

During my address, I emphasized my belief that "health is the foundation of everything. Without good health, none of our professional pursuits can truly thrive. A healthy individual contributes to building a healthy nation. Sports is more than just a game—it’s about achieving excellence, learning resilience, and growing together. Even in defeat, the lessons learned prepare us for future victories. This spirit of perseverance is essential in every aspect of life."

In my role as an orthopedic surgeon, my greatest fulfillment comes from restoring mobility, relieving pain, and witnessing the transformation that medical care brings to people’s lives. I believe that healthcare is not merely about treatment; it is about compassion, trust, and a commitment to improving lives.
