The Department of Emergency Medicine, Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, successfully conducted a Disaster Table-Top Discussion on 22 December 2025.
The exercise focused on strengthening hospital disaster preparedness, enhancing inter-departmental coordination, and improving systematic response planning during emergency situations. We are pleased to share that Dr. D. K. V. Prasad, Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Hyderabad, has made a significant scholarly contribution to the field of cancer research.
Dr. Prasad has contributed as both Author and Editor to the book titled “Frontiers of Cancer Biology”, published by Elsevier, a globally renowned academic publisher. A distinguished guest lecture on “ Clinical Pathway in Health Care ” was conducted at Apollo College of Nursing, Hyderabad, on 20 December 2025 by Dr. Prabhavathi, Additional Medical Superintendent – Quality & Accreditation (Clinical Services), Apollo institute of medical sciences and research, Hospitals.

The session provided valuable insights into Clinical Care Pathways as evidence-based frameworks that ensure safe, timely, and consistent patient care, enhance clinical outcomes, elevate patient experience, and strengthen quality and accreditation practices.

A Quality Workshop on Bridging Practice and Evidence was successfully conducted on 17th December 2025 by the Department of Quality, Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Hyderabad.
