World Breastfeeding Week 2025
(1st – 7th August)

The Department of Community Medicine, AIMSR, Hyderabad, observed World Breastfeeding Week with the theme:
✨ “Prioritise Breastfeeding – Create Sustainable Support Systems” ✨

The week-long activities included engaging seminars, roleplays, and poster presentations by the 2022 MBBS batch.
💬 Focus group discussions with ASHA workers and 🤱 community outreach sessions with mothers highlighted the vital role of breastfeeding in ensuring maternal and child health.

Together, we stand committed to spreading awareness and building sustainable support systems for healthier futures. 💙

🇮🇳 79th Independence Day @ AIMSR 🇮🇳

AIMSR, Jubilee Hills, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with pride and patriotic fervor.

The program began with flag hoisting by our Dean, Dr. K. Manohar, followed by Salami Shastra, Rashtriya Salami & March Past.
An inspiring address by the Dean, vibrant cultural programs, and medals distribution by Dr. G. Satyanarayana Reddy, Medical Superintendent, added to the spirit of the day.

The celebration concluded with light refreshments and a shared sense of unity, reminding us of our nation’s glorious journey.
