To all my patients, friends, and well-wishers,
It has come to my attention that a fraudulent Facebook profile is impersonating me. The account is using my name and image to connect with people and send messages via Messenger.
Please be extremely cautious.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the fake profile is using a misspelt name: "Drr Vijay Anand Raddy".
Important Clarifications:

This is NOT my official account.

My team and I will NEVER ask for your personal details, financial information, or schedule appointments via Facebook Messenger.
How You Can Help:
I request all of you to REPORT this profile immediately to Facebook. Your action will help get this fraudulent account removed and protect others from being misled.

23rd Anniversary celebration of the CURE Foundation was truly memorable and overwhelming, with the gracious presence of over 1,200 attendees.

The evening unfolded beautifully — from the elegant Soulmates: The VIP Couples ramp walk, the spectacular Aayana group dance, and the graceful walk by the models, to the unique golfers and models segment, each moment adding its own charm to the flow of the event.

The surprise entry of Manisha Koirala with child cancer survivors was the most iconic and emotionally powerful moment of the evening, leaving the audience deeply moved. The event concluded with the Dr Vijay Anand Reddy, founder’s heartfelt and emotional address, which touched every soul present.

I am deeply humbled and honoured by the award bestowed upon me by the Government of India.

I owe this honour to my teachers for their guidance and training; to my patients for their trust, courage, and resilience in the fight against cancer; and to my family for their unwavering support throughout my journey—especially my wife, Dr. Shashikala, who has been my constant strength.

I am profoundly grateful to Apollo Hospitals and Ms. Sangita Reddy for providing me with a peaceful and wonderful platform to do what I intended to do. My special thanks to Ms. Sangita Reddy for her continued trust and encouragement.

I will remain forever indebted to our Chairman, Sri Pratap C. Reddy garu, for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout my career. I fondly recall a statement once made by Chairman Sir: “If I had the power to clone, I would clone Vijay Anand into six and rule the oncology world.” Such trust and affection mean more to me than words can express.

I had the privilege of being felicitated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu, at his residence in Amaravati today. Receiving the Padma Shri is a profound responsibility, and discussing the future of healthcare with a visionary leader like Naidu garu was truly enlightening.

This journey in oncology has always been about the smiles of recovered patients and the hope we provide to families. My heart is full of gratitude for this honor, which I dedicate to every cancer warrior out there.

🙏 Padma Shri | With Gratitude 🇮🇳

I accept the Padma Shri with deep humility and gratitude.
For over 30 years, my only intention has been to serve patients ethically, treat them like family, and ease their pain — not to chase awards.

Cancer, especially in children, is emotionally difficult. Yet the truth is: many childhood cancers are curable when treated correctly and on time. This belief led to the creation of the Cure Foundation, so that financial limitations never stand between a child and treatment.

Through my book “I Am a Survivor”, I wanted newly diagnosed patients to hear directly from those who have walked this journey and returned to normal life — because hope is strongest when it comes from another patient.

Most cancers today are linked to lifestyle. Better habits, balanced food, exercise, and awareness can prevent many illnesses.

I thank my patients, their families, my mentors, my colleagues, and every healthcare worker who walks this path with sincerity.
