This sweet& brave little kid who got operated for squint correction few months ago dropped by hospital on Saturday just to tell me all about her school life and how comfortable she is with the vision post squint correction.

These moments are priceless & melt my heart.

It is difficult to live with a squint eye because it causes
• Double vision
• Lazy eye

Also, it can lead to abnormal positioning of the head. The lazy eye develops when the squint is left untreated for a long time. The affected eye loses its strength gradually. A lazy eye can be treated until the child turns 6 or 7. But this condition must be treated as early as possible.

This young buddy sathwik, 11 year old had come to hospital for an Eye check up yesterday and waited for 1 hour to meet me and said "I follow you on Instagram and wanted to meet you."

I was having a rough day and his words lightened up my day just like that.
