ప్రసిద్ధ గాయకులు, గీతా గాన ప్రవచన ప్రచారకర్త, 'భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్' వ్యవస్థాపకులు డాII ఎల్. వి. గంగాధర శాస్త్రి ఫౌండేషన్ సభ్యుడు శ్రీ రఘు తో కలిసి - డిసెంబరు లో తమ ఫౌండేషన్ ఏర్పాటు చేసే 'గీతా జయంతి' కార్యక్రమానికి కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్యులు శ్రీ జి కిషన్ రెడ్డి ని ఆహ్వానిస్తూ ఆయనను పట్టు బట్టలతో, దుశ్శాలువాతో భగవద్గీత గ్రంథం తో సత్కరించారు. అటుపై జై భవాని యూత్ అసోసియేషన్ బర్కత్ పురా వారు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అన్నదాన కార్యక్రమం లో పాల్గొన్నారు.

Renowned singer, preacher & propagator of Bhagavadgita and founder chairman of Bhagavadgita Foundation, Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, along with Foundation member Sri Raghu, invited Union Minister Sri G. Kishan Reddy to the Gita Jayanti celebrations that the Foundation will be organizing in December. On this occasion, they honored him with traditional attire, a shawl, and a copy of the Bhagavadgita.

Later, Dr. Sastry participated in the annadanam program organized by Jai Bhavani Youth Association, Barkatpura.

Offer the results of your work to the Divine. By doing this, you can achieve 100% fruitful results. No matter how difficult the challenge, you should have the mental strength to face it. Nurture spiritual thoughts from childhood. Gain awareness of the Ramayana and Mahabharata—through the characters in these epics, you will have the opportunity to cultivate human values. Spend as little time as possible with smartphones. Follow disciplined food habits.” — said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned singer, preacher and propagator of Bhagavadgita and Founder Chairman of the Bhagavadgita Foundation, during his inspiring personality development lecture through the Bhagavadgita for first-year B.Tech students at SRKR (Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju) Engineering College, Bhimavaram.

Earlier, in Bhimavaram, he paid floral tributes to the statues of Alluri Sitarama Raju (freedom fighter whose statue was unveiled by the Prime Minister), Ghantasala (legendary singer, guiding force for his complete Bhagavadgita musical rendition), and Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju (a great philanthropist). On this occasion, Dr. Sastry also planted a banyan sapling in the SRKR campus.

The following day, he delivered his Bhagavadgita pravachan with music in the college auditorium. He suggested that the state government should introduce Bhagavadgita as part of the curriculum from 5th standard onwards, to preserve Sanatana Dharma, and appreciated Andhra Pradesh Legislative Deputy Speaker Sri Raghurama Krishnam Raju for responding positively to this idea. Dr. Sastry emphasized that the Bhagavadgita is not a religious text, but a guidebook for righteous living, a dictionary of life itself, and deserves to be declared a National Scripture. He analyzed selected verses of the Gita with musical explanation, linking them to daily life. He said it was highly commendable that SRKR College management invited him with the request, “Give our children the message of the Bhagavadgita”—especially at a time when schools hesitate to introduce Gita lessons under the banner of “secularism.”

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sri Sagi Prasada Raju, Sri S.V. Rangaraju, Sri S.R.K. Nishanth Varma, Dr. M. Jagapati Raju, Dr. K.V. Muralikrishna Raju, Sri Dileep Chakravarti, and Sri Vegesna Suryanarayana Raju (Kanaka Raju Suri). He also shared that while he was on his U.S. tour, Sri Raghurama Krishnam Raju invited him to this event, and said it gave him joy to see the people praising the Deputy Speaker’s selfless service as a political leader.

'సనాతన ధర్మం ఒక వర్గానికి మాత్రమే పరిమితమయ్యింది కాదనీ, ధర్మమంటే సార్వజనీనమైనదని, అందుకే భగవద్గీత ఐదువేల సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత కూడా ప్రపంచ మానవాళికి స్ఫూర్తి నిచ్చే కర్తవ్యబోధా గ్రంథం గా ప్రాచుర్యం పొందిందని, నిత్య జీవితం లో 'భగవద్గీత అనుష్ఠానం' వల్ల సంపద, విజయం, ఐశ్వర్యం, స్థిరమైన నీతి, శాంతి చేకూరుతాయని, గీత ధర్మబద్ధమైన జీవితాన్ని గడిపేoదుకు దోహదపడే కర్మసిద్ధాంత గ్రంథమ'ని గీతా గాన ప్రవచన ప్రచార కర్త, భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ వ్యవస్థాపకులు డా ఎల్ వి గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. 'సువిధ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఫౌండేషన్', తెలుగు అసోసియేషన్ అఫ్ గ్రేటర్ శాక్రమెంటో ల సంయుక్త నిర్వహణలో అమెరికా లోని శాక్రమెంటో నగరం లో (24.8.2025) ఆయన గీతా గాన ప్రవచనం చేశారు. మనం మన బిడ్డలకు అందించవలసిన నిజమైన వారసత్వ సంపద భగవద్గీతా జ్ఞానమేనని ఆయన అన్నారు. కర్మ భక్తి జ్ఞాన మార్గాల ద్వారా శ్రీకృష్ణ పరమాత్మ అర్జునుణ్ణి నిమిత్తం గా చేసుకుని జగత్తు లోని ప్రతి మానవుణ్ణి ఉద్దేశించి మహోదాత్తమైన పద్దతి లో గీతోప్రదేశం చేసి జగద్గురువయ్యాడని చెప్పారు. గీత కు సర్వశాస్త్రమయి అని పేరుoదని, ఇది మత గ్రంధం కాదని సిద్ధాంత గ్రంథమని అన్నారు. ఇది కేవలం హిందువులను మాత్రమే నడిపించే బోధ కాదని, యావత్ మానవ జాతి ని సక్రమ మార్గం లో నడిపించగలిగే బోధ అని గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. బైబిల్, ఖురాన్ లు మానవుల చేత రచించబడిన గ్రంథాలైతే భగవద్గీత తాను సాక్షాత్తూ పరమాత్మ గా ప్రకటించుకున్న శ్రీకృష్ణుని చేత బోధింపబడిందని అన్నారు. భవ రోగాలకు సంజీవని లాంటి దివ్యౌషధం భగవద్గీత అని అన్నారు. మనిషి మనీషి కావాలంటే, పరమాత్మునికి ప్రీతి పాత్రులం కావాలంటే 12 వ అధ్యాయమైన భక్తి యోగం లోని 13 నుంచి 19 శ్లోకాలను ఆచరిస్తే చాలని, గీత పరమావధి - పారాయణం కాదని, ఆచరణ అని గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. ఇంతకంటే ఉన్నతమైన వ్యక్తిత్వ వికాస గ్రంధం ఈ భూమి మీద లేదని అన్నారు. గీతాచారణ మానసిక వత్తిడి లేని, స్వార్ధరహిత ఉత్తమసమాజాన్ని నిర్మించగలదని అన్నారు. భక్తి లో సందేహమొస్తే నారదుని భక్తి సూత్రాలు చదవాలని, యోగం లో సందేహమొస్తే పతంజలి యోగశాస్త్రం చదవాలని, జ్ఞానం విషయం లో సందేహాలు తలెత్తితే వ్యాసుని బ్రహ్మసూత్రాలు చదవాలని, జీవితం లో ఎక్కడ సందేహం వచ్చినా భగవద్గీత చదవాలని గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. గీతను బాల్యదశనుంచే నేర్పించాలని అన్నారు.'విశ్వరూప సందర్శన యోగం' నుంచి కొన్ని శ్లోకాలను కళ్ళకు కట్టినట్టుగా తాత్పర్య సహితం గా గానం చేసినప్పుడు ప్రేక్షకులు ఆనంద బాష్పాలతో కరతాళ ధ్వనులు సలిపారు. “Sanatana Dharma is not confined to any one group; Dharma is universal. That is why the Bhagavadgita, even after 5,000 years, continues to inspire humanity as a guiding scripture of duty. The practice of Bhagavadgita in daily life brings prosperity, success, abundance, stability in values, and peace. The Gita is a scripture of karma-siddhanta (law of action) that helps one live a righteous life,” said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned Gita singer, preacher & propagator of Bhagavadgita, and founder chairman of Bhagavadgita Foundation.

Organized jointly by Suvidha International Foundation and Telugu Association of Greater Sacramento, Dr. Sastry delivered his Gita musical discourse on August 24, 2025, at the residence of Sri Srikanth and Smt. Deepti Yanamandra in Sacramento, USA. He emphasized that the true legacy we must pass on to our children is the wisdom of the Bhagavadgita.

He explained how Lord Krishna, through the paths of Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana, used Arjuna as a medium to address all of humanity in the most exalted way, thereby becoming Jagadguru. The Gita is called the essence of all scriptures; it is not a religious text but a philosophical treatise. “It does not guide only Hindus; it is a teaching that can direct the entire human race on the right path,” he said. While the Bible and Quran were composed by human hands, the Bhagavadgita was spoken directly by Lord Krishna, who declared Himself as the Supreme Being. The Gita, he said, is like a divine medicine — Sanjeevini — that cures the ailments of worldly existence.

“If one wishes to become truly wise and dear to the Lord, it is enough to practice verses 13 to 19 of Chapter 12, Bhakti Yoga. The ultimate aim of the Gita is not mere recitation but living by its teachings. Nowhere else on earth is there a greater scripture for personality development. The practice of the Gita can create a stress-free, selfless, and noble society,” Dr. Sastry said. He also guided: “If doubts arise in devotion, read Narada Bhakti Sutras; if in yoga, read Patanjali Yoga Shastra; if in knowledge, read Vyasa’s Brahmasutras; but in any matter of life, turn to the Bhagavadgita.” He stressed that children should be taught the Gita from an early age.

When he sang select verses from the chapter Vishwaroopa Sandarshana Yoga with detailed meaning, the audience responded with emotional tears and thunderous applause. The program began with introductory remarks by Smt. Bhagavati Bhanu Deepti Yanamandra, Joint Secretary of the Telugu Association of Greater Sacramento. Dr. Sastry conveyed his special thanks to Sri Ranga Tatiparthi, who designed the program; Sri Bhaskar Vempati, founder of Suvidha International Foundation; Sri Prem, President of TAGS; the warm hosts Sri Srikanth Narayan, Smt. Deepti, and Sri Sharan; and Sri Prabhakar Rao, founding member of Bhagavadgita Foundation, USA chapter.

He expressed special appreciation and blessings to Chi. L. Viswateja, who efficiently coordinated the 2025 Gita promotional tour. He also conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Raj Kumar (Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad), Dr. Divakar Lingam, and Dr. Sandeep Adusumalli for their timely medical care for his sudden illness during this tour.

Renowned Bhagavadgita singer, preacher, propagator and founder of Bhagavadgita Foundation, Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, delivered a Gita Musical discourse in Dallas, USA. In recognition of his dedicated efforts to spread the message of the Gita, the city’s prominent cardiologist, Sri Alla Srinivasa Reddy, hosted a Meet and Greet program at A2B Restaurant. In Dallas, USA, on August 9, 2025, at a program jointly organized by the Value Financial Services and the Tirumala Family Foundation, renowned singer, Bhagavadgita preacher and propagator as well as founder chairman of the Bhagavadgita Foundation, Dr. L. V. Gangadhara Sastry, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Announcing the award, the founder of Tirumala Family Foundation and Value Financial Services, Sri. Kumbum Tirumala Reddy, stated: “Dr. Sastry is the first Indian singer who rendered all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita in Telugu, complete with meaning, in his own musical composition, recorded with the highest technical standards to create the feeling of a divine vision when heard. The album was released by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Vishwesha Tirtha Swami. Without stopping there, he has dedicated the last two decades of his life to selfless promotion of the Bhagavadgita for building a virtuous society. This award recognizes those immense spiritual services.”

It is remarkable that Sri. Thirumala Reddy Kumbum efficiently organized the Bhagavadgita musical discourse on a large scale, like a grand “event,” in the presence of thousands of Bhagavadgita followers!

During his address, Dr. Sastry questioned: “The Gita was taught in an age before religions were born — who can call it a religious scripture? Krishna, the Universal Teacher, taught the Gita for the welfare of all humanity — who can limit Him to being the God of only Hindus?” He mentioned that even Westerners have praised the Gita — citing how Oppenheimer recalled the verse “Divi Sūrya Sahasrasya” during the first atomic bomb test, how UNESCO recently recognized the Gita, and how Indian Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker and American astronaut Sunita Williams have both said it deeply inspired them. Calling it the “Song of Victory”, Sastry explained that Arjuna heard Krishna’s teaching, acted upon it, and attained success. He connected select key verses to everyday life, delivering a musical discourse. When he sang and explained the “Vishwaroopa Darshana Yoga” episode, the audience experienced a divine atmosphere and stood in emotional applause.

Before the main event, he blessed and congratulated children who had recited the Bhakti Yoga chapter of the Gita, reminding everyone that the ultimate aim of the Gita is not mere recitation, but living its teachings in daily life. The program featured pleasant commentary by Smt. Maitreyi and Smt. Spuritha.

Dr. Sastry expressed gratitude to Mrs. Sandhya Reddy Gavva, who first introduced him to the Telugu community in the USA, and thanked her for attending. Special guests included Smt. Sandhya Reddy, Sri. Thotakura Prasad, Sri. Narendra Yarabarla from Houston, and Sri. Venkat Jasti from Albany.
