What does it mean to practice… together?
We’re opening a 30-day daily practice space through our Mindfulness Sangha, held through an embodied social justice lens.
This is not about getting it “right.”
It is about noticing, sitting with, and responding to our bodies in the contexts we live in.
The space will be held in English, with ongoing adjustments to center people’s lives and experiences, rather than asking anyone to fit into a fixed way of practicing.
You are invited to move at your own pace.
To choose how you participate.
To pause, adapt, or step back when needed.
To stay with recognition, rather than regulation.
🗓 Monday 27 April – Wednesday 27 May 2026
⏰ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm (online, daily)
These sessions are held by Fellows of the Embodied Social Justice Program as part of their ongoing practice of integrating somatics and social justice into their work.
Free of cost.
DM us to receive the link.

🔵 Reclaiming Memory & Identity 🔵
14th April 2026

In honor of Dalit History Month and Ambedkar Jayanti, we invite you to a community-driven gathering of ritual, art, and solidarity.

We come together to hold space for the intersectional experiences of caste, gender, and identity, transforming traditional remembrance into an active “monumental” assembly of stories. Through the sharing of symbolic objects, the stories attached to them and communal prayer, we aim to engage in a dynamic, collective experience that centers our lived histories and reimagines our resistance.

Event Details:
📅 Date: 14th April, 2026
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Venue: Pause for Perspective, Begumpet, Hyderabad
🗣️ Facilitation: English
🌍 Open for All

Sequence of Events:

✨ Opening Ritual, Panchsheel, Bhim Geet & Reflection
We begin by lighting candles and incense before Babasaheb and Buddha. We will recite the Panchsheel (Five Precepts) and reflect on the profound meaning Buddhism held for Babasaheb’s vision of liberation. (Wearing white is optional). We will also listen to and discuss the power of Bhim Geet (Marathi composition). We welcome everyone to share songs of resistance from their own languages and regions.

✨ Collective Monument Making: ‘Assembly of Stories’
We invite you to bring an object that represents your lived experience or resistance: this could be a tool of labor, a book that changed you, or a symbol of your identity. Together, we will create a “monumental” assembly. These stories will be documented through photography and writing to honor our collective journey.

✨ ‘We Move As The Sky’
Right before we break for lunch, we will offer a special invocation and prayer dedicated to Trans-Anticaste Solidarity and Resistance. A moment of reflection and commitment to moving together in power.

✨ Community Potluck Lunch
We conclude our gathering with a shared meal. We invite all participants to bring a dish to share as we nourish each other in community.
