An invitation to explore shared experiences, confront marginalities, reflect on resilience, and feel deeply witnessed.
This isn’t a lecture. It’s not about being “right.”
It’s about being real, together. ✨

🔸 Reflect on personal challenges and experiences
🔸 Share stories of resilience, joy, connection, and struggle
🔸 Explore your relationship with God beyond rigidity
🔸 Unlearn shame and deconstruct dominant religious narratives
🔸 Reflect on Islamic teachings with love and complexity
🔸 Build solidarity across differences
🔸 Sit in a circle that includes all — across sects, identities, and orientations
🔸 Root yourself in love, not fear
🔸 Reflect on Islamic teachings with love and complexity
🔸 And above all, feel less alone

This is not a space for preaching, exclusion, or shame.
No one’s here to correct your way of being.
We are here to witness you. With softness.

Come as you are. Bring your full self. There’s space for you here. 🌿

A profound dive into our 9-week Mindfulness Based Practice Training! 🌿 As a Pathway to Embodied Social Justice, we're deconstructing traditional MBIs to challenge oppressive systems and center the body's innate wisdom as a site of protest, resistance, and liberation. Unpacking ableist narratives & embracing Anticaste, MAD Pride+Disability Justice, ND+Q***r-Trans Affirmative teachings - every week is a journey of deep reflection and collective unlearning.

Held by PFP Founder & Director - MBSM Trained Teacher, Ottawa Mindfulness Clinic, Canada.

This training is for anyone curious to listen to their body's language with an anti-oppressive, community-centered lens. This is towards cultivating a practice that truly aligns with our personal and collective vision towards liberation.

The Q***r Imagination Project welcomes you to a guided creative writing session that invites q***r and trans folks to return to the body as a site of memory, sensation, story, and power.

Titled 'Writing From The Bones' — A Body Centered Creative Writing Practice, we will explore these two questions in this session:

🌱What's a sentence like in the body?

🌱What's it like to feel the body of a sentence?

Through somatic prompts, movement-based reflections, listening to sensorily attuned excerpts, and collective sharing, the session seeks to center embodied storytelling as a radical act of pride, self assertion and reclamation.

🌿 No prior writing experience is required—only our breath, our bodies, and our truths.

🍄This offering is centered for q***r folks, but is also open to anyone committed to allyship & listening with care.
