✨Breathe. Be Still. Become Present. ✨

Pranayama and meditation are the heart of a deeper yoga practice. When we slow the breath, we calm the nervous system. When the mind settles, clarity begins to rise.

Through conscious breathing, we create space in the body and balance in the mind. Through meditation, we learn to observe, release, and reconnect with our inner stillness. Together, they guide us back to our natural state of peace.

Join us on the mat to experience the power of breath and awareness 🙏🏽

Headstand: A Classical Yoga Pose With Modern Scientific Benefits
Headstand (Śīrṣāsana) has been practiced for centuries in traditional yoga, and its value holds up under modern physiology. When approached with proper technique, this classical inversion offers measurable benefits:
• Circulation:
Inverting the body supports venous return and increases blood flow to the upper body and brain, creating a natural shift in circulation that many practitioners find clarifying.
• Nervous System Regulation:
Headstand stimulates baroreceptors in the neck—pressure sensors that help regulate blood pressure. Their activation during inversion can lower heart rate and support a calmer, more balanced nervous system.
• Strength & Stability:
The pose requires engagement of deep core stabilisers, the shoulder girdle, and upper back. These muscles contribute to spinal support, posture, and overall functional strength.
• Balance & Proprioception:
This classical posture challenges the vestibular system and cerebellum, helping improve coordination, body awareness, and overall balance.
• Lymphatic Support:
Inversion assists lymph movement from the lower body toward the torso, supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes.

While Headstand has deep roots in traditional yoga, it should always be learned and practiced with proper alignment and under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

There’s a moment in One Simple Thing where Eddie Stern reminds us that meaningful change often begins quietly — with a single breath, a single intention, a single step toward awareness. And now, that wisdom is coming into our own space in the studio.

What began as us reading his book, quoting his teachings, and practicing with his videos has now unfolded into something truly special: the chance to learn from him in person.

On this visit, Eddie will lead us through a morning of connection and exploration:

7:30–8:00 AM — Yoga Sangraha

10:30 AM–1:00 PM — Pranayama Intensive
A deeper dive into breath, science, and the inner steadiness yoga cultivates.

If his book has ever sparked something in you, imagine what practicing with him will do.

Yogaḥ citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ” — Patanjali, Yoga Sutras 1.2

Yoga is more than asanas; it is the gentle art of quieting the mind. Through a consistent and dedicated practice, we learn to still the fluctuations of thought and uncover the clarity, balance, and freedom that already reside within us. 🧘‍♀️✨

Join us on the mat and discover the calm that resides within all of us.

✨ Discover the power of Pranayama ✨
Breath is the bridge between the body and the mind—and pranayama is where that connection becomes transformative.

Pranayama helps:
🌿 Calm the nervous system
🧠 Improve focus + mental clarity
💛 Reduce stress + anxiety
🔥 Boost energy + vitality
😴 Improve sleep + emotional balance

Eddie Stern has been a key voice in showing how traditional breathing methods line up with modern research. He explains that small, consistent adjustments to the breath can measurably affect heart rate variability, mood, and overall regulation.

If you want to actually learn these techniques rather than just read about them, his upcoming workshop is worth attending. It’s a chance to understand the principles directly, ask questions, and come away with a practice you can use on your own.

Morning Meditation Club - Your breath and brain are deeply connected. The right hemisphere of your brain is responsible for creativity, emotional awareness, intuition, and spatial understanding. It helps you see the bigger picture and stay connected to the present moment.

Practices like pranayama and meditation activate and balance this side of the brain — promoting calm, focus, and clarity.

Taking time to breathe and sit in stillness isn’t just about relaxation.

Join our next Meditation Club session to explore how simple breath and stillness can rewire your brain for calm and connection 🙏🏽✨

Morning Meditation Club- Take a break from the week and find some quiet. Every Saturday, we gather for a simple meditation practice — a chance to slow down, breathe, and reset.

Regular meditation has been shown to change how the brain responds to stress and attention. It can reduce activity in the amygdala, the part of the brain linked to fear and anxiety, while strengthening connections in the prefrontal cortex, which supports focus, emotional regulation, and decision-making. Over time, these changes can help you stay calmer and more present, even in busy or difficult moments.

There’s no pressure and no experience required — just a supportive space to sit together, reflect, and find a bit of calm before the week ahead.

Come as you are. Take a seat. Breathe 🧘🏽‍♀️ 🙏🏽

Our bodies are constantly scanning for safety. When we’re stressed, our nervous system shifts into “fight, flight, or freeze.” Through simple, mindful movements and steady breath, Yoga Sangraha helps guide the body back into balance — what Eddie calls regulation.
It’s incredible how accessible this practice is — whether you’re an experienced practitioner, beginner or moving slowly after injury. The sequence offers grounding, stability, and connection, helping the body feel safe again.

To me, accessibility in yoga means ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience a sense of physical, mental, and emotional calm. That’s what I love about Eddie’s approach: it’s inclusive, science-informed, and rooted in compassion. If your nervous system has been on overload lately, this practice can help you return to yourself — one breath, one movement at a time.

Experience Yoga Sangraha with Eddie Stern in our upcoming workshop. All levels are welcome—come as you are and bring your curiosity 🙏🏽

Eddie say’s Yoga Sangraha isn’t a new style of yoga — it’s a way of revisiting classical practices through a contemporary lens. The sequence is practiced calmly, without pushing or striving — just placing the body into each posture, staying there, and breathing quietly.

What’s shifted for me most is the simplicity — moving gently, focusing on soft breathing, and allowing the nervous system to settle. No performance, no pressure — just attention, awareness, and presence.

I’m still learning — there’s so much more to understand about these sequences and the breath. But that’s the gift of a yoga practice: it’s a continuous conversation with your body. Grateful to have guiding us at the studio soon and sharing all knowledge 🙏🏽
