Anahata Chakra: The Heart Center of Breath, Emotion and Energy

In this video, Dr. Satya Sindhuja explains the significance of the Anahata Chakra (Heart Chakra) and its vital role in the human body’s energetic, emotional and physiological functions. She describes Anahata as a central meeting point where breath, emotions, sensory experiences and subtle energies converge.

She explains the physical correlation of the Anahata Chakra, linking it anatomically to the thoracic vertebra around D10 and the expansion of the lungs during breathing.

She explains how the Anahata Chakra functions as a sensory hub, where experiences received through the Panchendriyas (five senses) are deeply processed and felt.

She connects the concept of brain-generated electrical impulses with the energy produced by the heart, commonly referred to as heart energy.

Concluding with a powerful spiritual symbolism, she refers to Anjaneya (Hanuman), revealing Lord Rama within his heart. This metaphor represents the opening of the Anahata Chakra, signifying the heart as the seat of divine presence (Narayana) and higher consciousness.

In this video, Dr. Satya Sindhuja begins by emphasizing the sacred nature of the human body, describing it as a “temple”(Deho Devalayam) - a living space where life and consciousness reside.

She explains that when the body is respected, understood and cared for, the soul can live within it joyfully and harmoniously. However, when the body is neglected or misunderstood, pain and negative emotions begin to accumulate.

She further highlights the importance of recognizing that the body is not a lifeless matter but a living, feeling entity that experiences sensations, emotions and states of balance or imbalance. She introduces the concept of silence (mouna) as a powerful internal language.

She further explains that the greatest enemy is not external, but the negative energy, resistance or harmful patterns cultivated within oneself.

She then elaborates on the nature of pain, clarifying that pain is not a complaint, but a state indicator.

She points out that ancient wisdom and scriptures clearly recognized pain as a form of communication, but modern lifestyles have distanced people from this understanding.

Drawing a historical comparison, she refers to ancient civilizations such as the Mauryan era, noting that diseases have always existed. She raises an important question: how did people heal themselves thousands of years ago without modern hospitals or allopathic medicine? Her answer lies in deep body awareness and self-observation.

She explains that the body was once understood not only as a temple, but also as a “laboratory” (Deho Prayogashalayah) - a space where individuals continuously observed internal changes and sensations.

She finally reflects on modern life, emphasizing that today’s biggest limitation is the lack of time and patience to observe the body deeply.

Every movement we take for granted - is a victory for someone with Cerebral Palsy.

Today while everyone has heard about Cerebral Palsy (CP), people yet don’t understand this condition and its struggles. CP is a neurological condition caused by abnormal brain development or injury to the developing brain - often before birth or in early childhood.

It affects muscle tone, balance, posture and coordination - making even simple movements a daily struggle. For many, this means a lifetime of limited mobility and dependence.

At Chakrasiddh, we work on reconnecting the mind, body and energy flow using ancient Siddha and Marma therapies. Our holistic approach helps improve neuromuscular coordination, restore balance and strengthen the body’s natural functions - giving hope where modern medicine sees limits.

We’ve seen remarkable transformations - children taking their first steps, adults regaining control, families rediscovering hope. Because at Chakrasiddh, we believe healing is not just about treatment - it’s about restoring movement, confidence and life itself.

Our patient, Dr. Ram, an MBBS doctor, reflects on his personal healing journey at Chakrasiddh under the guidance of Dr. Satya Sindhuja.

In 2018, Dr. Ram sustained an injury to his right knee. Medical evaluation confirmed an ACL tear and he was advised to undergo 4 months of rest. During this time, prolonged inactivity led to significant muscle weakening, which resulted in muscular imbalance and began affecting his spine as well.

Dr. Ram began looking beyond conventional approaches. His search led him to Ayurveda and other alternative therapies, eventually bringing him to Chakrasiddh. After meeting Dr. Sindhuja and understanding the treatment approach, he chose to begin therapy.

Within just 3 weeks of treatment at Chakrasiddh, Dr. Ram experienced remarkable improvement. He was able to return to riding heavy motorcycles weighing between 350 - 400 kgs.

The healing process at Chakrasiddh is rooted in energy-based sessions that are difficult to fully articulate and can only be truly understood through direct experience. He spent nearly two years observing and studying the relationship between modern medicine and Siddha-based healing systems. He examined changes reflected in X-ray and MRI reports, gaining insight into how different treatment modalities influence the body in their own unique ways.

Stories of Healing at Chakrasiddh!

This is the story of our young patient, 9-year-old Niranjan. After a collision while playing, he developed a visible deformity of the nasal bridge, causing his nose to appear bent rather than straight, along with a deviated nasal septum and an internal fracture.

Niranjan was advised to undergo a major reconstructive nasal surgery in Germany, a complex procedure that involved harvesting a portion of bone from the ribs and reconstructing the nasal framework. As with any such advanced surgery - especially in a child, the outcome could not be guaranteed.

The deviation required careful correction, along with precise setting of the internal crack from the fracture. Treatment was particularly challenging due to his narrow nasal passage and smaller nostril size. Given his young age and delicate condition, extra care, precision, and planning were essential throughout the process of his healing journey.

The Body’s Natural Healing Intelligence: Understanding Spinal Recovery!

In a candid conversation, Dr. Sindhuja talks about how the human body has an extraordinary ability to heal itself - when the right environment and conditions are created.

She further explains that healing is not something imposed from outside, but an internal, automatic process guided by the body’s own developmental intelligence, following a natural formula for growth, repair and regeneration from childhood to old age.

Using the thoracic spine as an example, she highlights its vital role in supporting the upper and lower spine, the impact of prolonged sitting and poor posture and why this region is prone to stiffness and injury.

She also emphasizes that while the body can initiate healing on its own, recovery has limitations and depends on motor function and nerve health, not just bones. With insights into why healing can be slow and subtle, this conversation encourages realistic expectations, patience and a deeper understanding of the recovery journey.

Breath Awareness: The Key to Emotional Balance and Mental Stability!

Dr. Sindhuja in a candid conversation talks about how breathing is not merely a physical function, but a direct reflection of our emotional state, mental activity and overall well-being.

She further explains the three fundamental patterns of breathing - natural breathing during daily activities, intense breathing during physical exertion and controlled breathing cultivated through practices such as pranayama and meditation, each serving a distinct purpose within the body and mind.

She highlights how stress, anxiety or excitement automatically accelerate our breath and pulse, disturbing emotional balance. Through conscious breath regulation -structured inhalation, gentle breath retention and controlled exhalation - we can consciously influence the emotional centers of the brain and calm the nervous system.

Practicing this awareness in stable seated postures like Sukhasana, Siddhasana or Vajrasana further enhances relaxation and reduces anxiety.

Dr. Sindhuja emphasizes that the most crucial element is mental synchronization: observing emotions as they arise without suppression or judgment. When awareness and breath move together, emotional disturbances gradually dissolve, leading to greater clarity, inner stability and emotional resilience.

With consistent and correct practice, conscious breathing becomes a transformative tool for mental balance, self-regulation and lasting well-being.

Stories Of Healing at Chakrasiddh!

When our patient, Vara Allamaraju came to Chakrasiddh, she was struggling with chronic plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, spinal misalignment and stiffness from years of poor posture and limited mobility. The pain in her back, hips and legs had made even simple movement a challenge.

At Chakrasiddh, we worked on identifying and treating the root cause - using Siddha and Marma therapies to release energy blockages, improve spinal alignment and restore circulation through deep tissue healing.

With consistent sessions and lifestyle guidance, Vara began to experience visible change - less pain, greater flexibility and renewed strength. Her recovery was further supported by the compassionate care of our therapist Architha and the guidance of Sindhuja Ma’am, whose approach bridges science, energy and spiritual healing.
