"Keeping your sinuses well-balanced and maintaining free movement within them is very important. How to achieve this? ...you could do Jala Neti to reduce the mucus in the system. But this practice has to be properly imparted." - Sadhguru

Benefits Include:

* Relief from asthma, consistent colds, disorders of the sinuses (including sinusitis & rhinitis), allergies (including hayfever), bronchitis, migraine and headaches

* Preventive measure for respiratory tract diseases (like those mentioned above)

* Reduces Anxiety & Stress

* Removes excess mucus and pollutants from nasal passages and sinuses (especially those caused by polluted air)
* Calms the nervous system yet keeps keeps it highly effective

* Relieves Insomnia and tiredness and improves quality of sleep

* Neurologically it brings a certain dynamism and at the same time a certain tranquility

* Helps with epilepsy

What is Jala Neti?

Today many people describe Jala Neti as a cleansing process for the nasal passages to remove mucus. Whilst it is true that Jala Neti is a very effective cleansing process, it is much more than that. Jala Neti has been practiced by yogis for millennia as a process of looking after the whole system and not just the sinuses.  The human respiratory system is very closely connected with the neurological system and also the energy system. So that's why in the yogic system many more benefits are described but only if it is practiced properly.
Jala Neti can dramatically improve your physical and psychological health as well as bringing an incredible sense of ease in your yogic or other spiritual practice. In many ways it serves as a perfect preparation for one’s daily practice of hatha yoga.
During the class we will be teaching the proper way to practice Jala Neti. It is a delicate process, which if done improperly can either reduce the benefit or can even cause irreparable damage.
Each participant has the opportunity receive their own Jala Neti pot. This pot has been designed by Sadhguru and made of copper to maximise the benefits of the practice.
