FIVE POINT VISION OF THE FOUNDATION
1.HEALTH CARE
The focus of the programmes was to bring awareness about NTR VAIDYA SEVA / AAROGYASRI and its benefits to rural people and INTENSE AWARENESS ABOUT HEALTH INSURANACE AMONG THE MIDDLE CLASS FAMILIES and to bring all the middle class families in to health insurance and to prevent occurrence of common diseases. Medical treatment has become very costly for many and almost unaffordable. Hence there is a need for some protective mechanism for majority of the population. Even for doctors the treatment is some time pinching. This is one of the effects of globalization and corporatization of health care. One such protective mechanism is health insurance. All doctors may advise their patients to take at least minimum coverage .in India only less than 20 per
cent of the population has health insurance! In the process of improving health status, the following methods will be implimented:
• Periodic health camps organized in the villages to detect the common diseases among the villagers and provide them referral services
• Curative services for common ailments of the poor are provided through health camps
• Free distribution of medicines to families that are among the poorest, and that could not afford to buy medicines on their own
2. RURAL DEVELOPMENT
* Creating awareness about organic farming and its health and wealth benefits to
Farmers
* Non-formal education for school child dropouts
*.Microfinance and micro enterprise development programmes
*.Skill building for youth
*.Linkage with Govt. institutions for incentives and support
3.YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
• BY ORGANISING PERSONALITY/SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMES
• BY CONDUCTING ESSAY WRITING COMPETETIONS
• BY ORGANISING HAND WRITING TRAINING WORK SHOPS
4.GREEN REVOLUTION
Encouraging civilians to plant at least 10 saplings in a year and shall ensure their growth through constant care.In the areas such as; road-side avenues, river and canal bank, barren hill, tank bunds and foreshore areas, institutional premises, religious places, housing colonies, community lands, municipalities, industrial parks.
5.SWATCHA BHARAT
• Bringing about behavioral change among people regarding better sanitation
• Bringing general awareness among people regarding being clean and keeping
Themselves and their surroundings clean
