Children are inquisitive by nature.
They explore not just the outside world but their own body too.
In the process they inadvertently insert objects in various body openings.
This is common in the toddlers.
Putting beads/peanuts/pea/coins and other small oblects in the nose, ear and oral cavity is quite common.
For removal of such foreign bodies a thorough understanding of the anatomy and the skills to do the same without causing more harm is essential.
