Today, we celebrated the spirit of freedom and unity as our respected Dr. Rajesh Gupta led the flag hoisting ceremony. It was a proud moment, made even more special by the presence of our entire AIG family – from our dedicated doctors and nurses to our essential housekeeping, security, paramedical staff, and every member who keeps our institution running.

Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Somajiguda participated in the IASG Mid-Term Conference & 22nd NSGE Update 2025 with a LIVE endoscopy broadcast, demonstrating advanced ERCP techniques for complex gallbladder and bile duct conditions.

Streamed from our centre to delegates in Bengaluru, the session formed a key part of the academic program themed: “Gallbladder & Bile Ducts – Problems & Solutions.”

Our Chairman, Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy attended the Sankranti and Pongal festivities at the residence of esteemed cabinet minister, Shri G. Kishan Reddy Garu, and was treated to an exceptional cultural program showcasing our rich heritage.
In the presence of Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, Shri Om Birla, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Chiranjeevi Garu, and our Sports Icon PV Sindhu, Dr. Reddy celebrated Sankranti and Pongal by lighting the Bhogi fire.
Through this festival with various names across India, we honor the timeless traditions of our agricultural heritage, expressing gratitude for the bounty of the land and the promise of renewal. We extend my warmest wishes to everyone for a joyous Sankranti and Pongal, may this festive season bring happiness, good health, and a bountiful harvest.

We did a LIVE Endoscopy Workshop from our Somajiguda Centre for the Association of Physicians of India (API) 45th CME Programme in Internal Medicine. From basics to advanced endoscopy cases, including the latest intestinal bowel ultrasound were showcased.
