For last many years human social services for the unfortunate senior citizens who are either circumstance led or no one to give humanitarian affection and love are being sheltered as a family members of Cheyutha .They are being given warm welcome and are being given affection and love as human through a CHEYUTHA OLD AGE HOME. In addition Cheyutha extends its hand to those who have been avoided by their kids and loved one in society with a single aim of one human need to live peacefully. CHEYUTHA has observed the need of the time and established an old age home, but this is not our main service. Earlier, old age homes were not needed, because the joint family system was followed. That system was broken once people shifted from villages-(the agriculture based job) to cities (income generation). The change of values and the social set up were the reasons that encourage the growth of old age homes. Thus it became a social necessity.
