Many patients come to us with symptoms of fever . neck swelling , headache , weight loss and loss of appetite.
These symptoms can be seen in many infections like tuberculosis hepatitis and they are not specific to hiv.
Hiv infected patients may not have any of these symptoms in the early stages.
The best way to diagnose HIV is by getting tested .
Only in the advanced stages many patients develop such symptoms suggestive of some oppertunistic infection.

Many people who are on hiv medicines will have doubts as to contine oral medicines or switch to other injectable treatments for hiv

The newer injectables hiv drugs like raltegravir and cabotegravir are now on trials and many are showing promising results when given once in a month .

As of now oral medicines are very effective and continue to remain main treatment for most of these patients as most of them are very safe and effective with least side effects.
