It was built in view of catering to the health care of the rural masses that had to solely depend on government hospitals which lacks modern equipments and infrastructures. It is a growing medical and research institute having departments like: Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynae & Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Radiology, HIV/AIDS Research Unit and E.N.T. The Catholic Church tries to address the basic Health issues faced by the People of Manipur especially economically backward people. HOSPITAL DESIGN & LOCATION: The Hospital is situated at Koirengei a calm and serene area ideal for a hospital and convenient for the patient, in the Northern outskirts of Imphal city. The N.H. 2 Dimapur Road is passing through Koirengei and the hospital is just two minutes walk from Koirengei junction. It is 15 Km away from the Tulihal (Imphal) Airport and 8 Km from Gandhi Avenue, the private bus terminus Imphal.
