It was built in view of catering to the health care of the rural masses that had to solely depend on government hospitals which lacks modern equipments and infrastructures. It is a growing medical and research institute having departments like: Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynae & Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Radiology, HIV/AIDS Research Unit and E.N.T. The Catholic Church tries to address the basic Health issues faced by the People of Manipur especially economically backward people. Catholic Medical Centre aims at providing the best medical & nursing care at very affordable rate. HOSPITAL DESIGN & LOCATION: The Hospital is situated at Koirengei a calm and serene area ideal for a hospital and convenient for the patient, in the Northern outskirts of Imphal city. The N.H. 2 Dimapur Road is passing through Koirengei and the hospital is just two minutes walk from Koirengei junction. It is 15 Km away from the Tulihal (Imphal) Airport and 8 Km from Gandhi Avenue, the private bus terminus Imphal.
