🕊️ Just published: "The Actual Solution for the Manipur Conflict—Dialogue, Accountability & the Path to Peace"

In my latest article, I go beyond the surface-level narratives to explore what it really takes to resolve the Manipur crisis. From fostering meaningful dialogue between communities, demanding true accountability from all sides, and addressing often-overlooked challenges like illegal immigration, I’ve mapped out a comprehensive strategy to restore lasting peace.

It’s time to move past blame and take actionable steps for a united, harmonious Manipur.

Read the roadmap, reflect, and join the conversation—because peace requires all of us.

Just completed my block placement at the Centre for Mental Hygiene! 🧠✨
Grateful for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen my understanding of mental health treatment and therapies.

A big thank you to the entire team for the support, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey.
I’ve learned so much—both professionally and personally—and I’m excited to carry these learnings forward.

📢 Research Published!

My academic study on “The Impact of Psychosocial Issues Among Youths in Relief Camps due to the Manipur Conflict” is now complete.

This work is dedicated to the people of Manipur, whose pain and resilience inspired me. I pray we return to peace, like before May 3, 2023.

🧠 Key Findings:

👉High trauma, stress & uncertainty

👉Loss of identity, isolation, and broken dreams

👉No proper mental health support in camps

👉Some youths coping well, others at risk

💡 What’s needed:

👉Youth programs in camps (sports, arts, learning)

👉Govt + NGO collaboration

👉Youth voice in peacebuilding

This study is a call to action — mental health must be a priority in relief work.

Grateful to my mentors and the brave youths who shared their stories. 🕊️🙏

Delimitation in Manipur: Why NRC Must Precede

I recently authored an opinion piece on a critical issue facing Manipur—the need for implementing the National Register of Citizens (NRC) before the delimitation process begins.

Published on E-Pao.net, the article delves into the complex dynamics between illegal immigration and electoral representation. It highlights how unregulated demographic changes can distort the very essence of democratic fairness if delimitation is carried out without a prior NRC exercise.

At a time when Manipur's political and ethnic landscape is undergoing intense scrutiny, I believe it's important to raise questions that affect the identity, integrity, and future governance of the state.

I welcome thoughts, constructive feedback, and dialogue on this pressing matter.

Bloodline & Purpose
"People often ask why I started my political journey so young and stay active on social media. Here's the story of my roots:

From my mom's side, my grandfather, Late Chingangbam Gowrahari, was a visionary journalist and politician in Manipur. He founded the newspaper Anouba Samaj in 1953 and participated in electoral politics during the era of former CM Late Rk. Keishing.

On my dad's side, my grandfather served in the medical field, providing care and treatment in his time, though not a doctor by title.

Following this legacy of service, I began my career in social work, later specializing in Medical Psychiatric Social Work. While serving communities, I found my voice in politics—a path inspired by both my heritage and my passion for change."

It was an honor to join MIMHANS in commemorating World Mental Health Day, focusing on this year's crucial theme: 'Prioritizing Mental Health at the Workplace.' In today's fast-paced world, ensuring mental well-being in our professional environments is essential for a healthier, more productive society.

Grateful to be part of this event, attended by the CEO of the Mental Health Program, Government of Meghalaya, the Additional Superintendent of MIMHANS, along with dedicated doctors, nurses, clinical psychologist interns, and psychiatric social worker interns.

Together, we continue to promote awareness and the importance of mental health for overall well-being. Let's make mental health a priority, not just today, but every day! 💚
