Regional Research Institute for Homoeopathy, Imphal is a premier research institute in the North East under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, New Delhi (An Autonomous Body of Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. First it was established as Clinical Research Unit (T) in the year 1984 at Churachandpur. Later the Unit was shifted to Khongjom in the year 1996. On 10th Nov 1987, Clinical Research Unit (

H) was established at Imphal. In April 2004, both the Units were merged together to form REGIONAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE for HOMOEOPATHY, IMPHAL. The institute is situated at New Checkon, Opposite Tribal Colony, Imphal East, Manipur- 795001.

Regional Review Meeting to review the activities/programmes of AYUSH under National AYUSH Mission ( ) of eight Northeastern states and West Bengal was held at Taj Vivanta, Khanapara, on Friday 25th August 2023.
The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma.
The review meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Union Minister of AYUSH and Port, Shipping & Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.
Hon’ble Minister of State for AYUSH and Women & Child Development Dr Mahendrabhai Munjapara was also present during the meeting.
The Health Ministers and Secretary (Health & Family Welfare) of all the 8 Northeastern states were also present in the review meeting.

Dr Amit Srivastava, Research Officer (Homoeopathy)/Scientist-1 and Officer in Charge, represented the Regional Research Institute for Homoeopathy, in the meeting.
