We have launched India’s very first book dedicated to Women and Heart Diseases – a subject that has long been under-recognized despite its importance.

This initiative, supported by Zydus, is co-authored by me along with my esteemed colleague Dr. Jyotsna Maddury, and reflects our shared commitment to bringing women’s cardiovascular health into sharper focus.

Women too are at high risk of heart disease, and it’s time we address this with the urgency it deserves. 💙

My heartfelt gratitude to Zydus, my co-author, and everyone who contributed to making this vision a reality. Together, let’s continue driving awareness, medical progress, and positive change.

Agar aapko seene me dard, pressure, jalan ya discomfort mehsoos ho, saath me saans phoolna, pasina aana ya chakkar aana jaise lakshan ho, toh ise ignore bilkul na karein. Blood Thinners हो सकते हैं खतरनाक – जानिए क्यों!
ब्लड थिनर यानी खून को पतला करने वाली दवाएं, हार्ट अटैक या स्ट्रोक से बचाने में मदद करती हैं।
लेकिन इन्हें बिना सही निगरानी के लेना खतरनाक भी हो सकता है।

⚠️ ज्यादा डोज या गलत तरीके से लेने पर हो सकता है –
🔹 ज्यादा ब्लीडिंग (नाक, मसूड़े या पेशाब में)
🔹 ब्रेन हेमरेज का खतरा
🔹 मामूली चोट में भी ज्यादा खून बहना
🔹 पेट में अल्सर या ब्लीडिंग

Laser angioplasty is a minimally invasive heart procedure used to open up blocked arteries.

💡 A long, flexible catheter is gently passed through the blood vessel.
📍 Once it reaches the blocked area, a precisely focused laser is used to vaporize the plaque buildup inside the artery.
⚡ This helps restore normal blood flow without the need for open-heart surgery.

It’s fast, effective, and often used when traditional angioplasty isn’t enough.
