Age is indeed just a number. It's never too late to start working on your health. All you need is some motivation, expert guidance & a mindset to make it happen.

E-meet Himani, a 52 years old homemaker, and mother of a 23 year old daughter. Himani has demonstrated wonderfully that age is not a factor if someone decides to take charge of their health. Her story in her own words -

"Since the very beginning, I had a very slim frame. But from the last 11-12 years, my body started showing signs of ill health in various ways, and I started gaining weight. During this time only, I got diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and slowly began developing issues like knee pain, which worsened over the years. I could barely bend down, and if I had to, it was too painful to handle for some reason. Other issues were high BP, high cholesterol levels, and lethargy throughout the day. Also, I had been suffering from severe migraine since childhood. I never thought my health could be any better from here, as I was in my 50s now.

Protein is an essential macronutrient that plays a crucial role in building and repairing tissues, supporting muscle growth, and maintaining overall health. Yet, how many of us are truly getting enough protein in our daily diets? Let's dive deeper and find out! ๐Ÿ“Š

An adult requires around 0.8-1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. For example, if your ideal body weight is 60 kg, you should aim for approximately 60 grams of protein daily to meet your body's needs. ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ

Let's take a look at the protein content in some common Indian foods:
๐Ÿฅฆ 1 cup Thick Daal = 10 grams of protein
๐Ÿ› Paneer (Cottage Cheese): 100 grams = 18 grams of protein
๐Ÿš Egg: 1 Boiled = 6 grams of protein
๐ŸŸ Fish: 100 grams = 15-17 grams of protein
๐Ÿ— Chicken Breast: 100 grams = 31 grams of protein

It's important to assess whether we are incorporating enough protein-rich foods into our daily meals.
