A 29 Years old Male having severe pain in lower abdomen and facing extreme difficulty in passing urine . As per USG findings, there were both sided renal stones - 7.8 mm on left side & 4.0 mm on right side .All the vitals were normal . No family history of any renal complaints. The patient was overall physically fit , but having unbearable pain during urination due to which he refrained from drinking adequate water .
Based on the patient’s symptoms and individualisation, he was given Homoeopathic Remedy . He was advised for follow up after 07 days. However, I received a phone call from him on the third day and he explained that his abdominal pain has slightly increased but he is unable to come clinic due to some personal work. (The mild aggravation is always a positive sign in Homoeopathy indicating selection of correct remedy). I advised him to increase the repetition of given medicines to every 02 hours instead of 04 times a day . On the 6th day , in the morning when I arrived at my clinic, he was standing there & waiting for my arrival. There was a sense of relief and smile on his face . He told me that there is no more abdominal pain and some stony particles have come out during urination . He brought one sample with him , it was around a 2.5 mm stone piece.
