The final stretch is here, mama! As your body prepares for childbirth, here are a few gentle reminders to care for yourself:

👣 Stay Active: Gentle walks or prenatal yoga help improve circulation and reduce swelling.
🥦 Eat Small, Frequent Meals: Support your baby’s growth and ease heartburn.
💤 Prioritize Rest: Sleep on your side with a pillow between your legs for comfort.
💧 Hydrate & Moisturize: Drink water and keep your skin nourished to reduce itching.
🩺 Keep Up with Appointments: Your doctor’s visits are crucial for monitoring baby’s position & growth.
🧠 Practice Relaxation: Try breathing exercises or affirmations to prep your mind for labor.

Here are some important second trimester care tips (Weeks 13–26) to support a healthy pregnancy for both you and your baby:



🌼 1. Prioritize Prenatal Checkups
• Schedule regular visits with your gynecologist.
• Second trimester scans (like the anatomy scan around 18–22 weeks) are crucial.



🥗 2. Eat a Balanced Diet
• Include protein (eggs, paneer, pulses), calcium (milk, curd), and iron-rich foods (spinach, dates, jaggery).
• Avoid raw fish, unpasteurized dairy, and excessive caffeine.
• Drink plenty of water (8–10 glasses/day).



🧘‍♀️ 3. Gentle Exercise
• Try prenatal yoga, walking, or swimming if your doctor allows.
• Avoid high-impact or contact sports.
• Helps with posture, mood, and reduces back pain.



😴 4. Sleep on Your Left Side
• Improves blood flow to the baby and reduces swelling.
