Scoliosis is not just a “spine problem” — it’s a whole-body movement dysfunction.

The visible curve is only the surface. Underneath, there is an imbalance in the lateral kinetic chain and spiral kinetic chain, affecting how the body stabilizes, rotates, and transfers force.

🔹 Lateral kinetic chain (side-to-side stability)
When weak or tight, it creates asymmetry → pelvic tilt, rib shift, and uneven loading.

🔹 Spiral kinetic chain (rotational control)
Dysfunction here leads to abnormal spinal rotation — a key component of scoliosis.

✔️ Correction is not about forcing the spine straight.
✔️ It’s about releasing restrictions + retraining movement patterns.

What we focus on: • Myofascial release of tight lateral structures
• Activation of weak stabilizers
• Rotational control & breathing mechanics
• Functional, 3D corrective exercises

Because real correction happens when the body learns to move better, not just look straight.

📍 Consistency > intensity
📍 Individual assessment is key

Uneven Shoulders – What it really means

“Uneven shoulders are not just a shoulder issue — it’s a side-to-side body imbalance.”

What is happening inside the body?

Left side chain
Serratus anterior, obliques, QL, glute med i.e
(neck → ribs → core → hip) becomes:
Weak / lengthened OR poorly controlled

Right side chain:
Upper trap, QL, obliques pulling the body upward or becomes
Tight / overactive

Result:
Body leans or shortens toward the stronger side
Shoulder height becomes uneven
Scapula loses proper control on the weak side

A Female patient from Mumbai came to Indore to attend a marriage function. During her journey to indore her old slip disc - related back pain reappeared, making her difficult to walk and stand properly.

During her previous slip disc episode, she had taken Physiotherapy treatment only in Mumbai. Based, on that experience, she visited my clinic through a relative's reference.

After a proper examination and diagnosis, we discovered that the issue was not just a slipdisc but also a muscle imbalance causing a lateral pelvic tilt

After a week of continuous physiotherapy, mainly manual therapy, her back pain reduced significantly and the pelvic tilt improved. She repeatedly mentioned that she had never experienced such effective therapy before, especially the manual therapy.
