Last Sunday (May 19th), I had the honor of participating in a panel discussion with Nagpal, Aditi Taylor, Raj Sharma, organized by Young Indian Professionals of New England. The panel was moderated by Munjal - an exceptional young professional of tremendous drive and ambition.

All 4 panelists had never met each other and we had pursued very diverse paths in our professional lives.

It was extraordinary that we had arrived on the same conclusions regarding required attributes for leadership and success.

Noteworthy attributes that were a recurring theme during the discussion were humility and the ability to keep a learner's attitude throughout life. Resilience and being anti-fragile were discussed as key prerequisites for both professional and personal journey.

I loved the food at Treasury Restaurant in Burlington and made new friends.

I started to observe fasting during the nine days of 🌻Navratri (नवरात्री)🌻 last year as I was dealing with a personal crisis. The experience was transformative for me as an exercise in self-discipline, focus and attention.

So I am again fasting during Navratri this year (day #5 today).

Last year, I was seeking to find a measure of solace inside for myself. This year, I seek to see and feel the unity and connectedness of the 'soul' in every one of us.

I seek to reinforce my belief in the "ethic of love" as a transformational force in all aspects of life.

It was a proud moment for Lawrence General Hospital today as Congresswoman Lori Trahan visited the hospital and our Emergency Room's new Accelerated Care Unit.

She is a tireless supporter of safety net systems. Along with Congressman David G. Valadao, she introduced legislation to define and support essential health systems (https://trahan.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3130). Much more to come on this.
