It is my pleasure to welcome you to College of Dental Science & Hospital, (CDSH), Rau. Here excellence is no accident but a way of life.
This College admits only 60 students in an academic year at the graduate class. This facilitates our highly qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty to devote individual attention and guidance, honing students’s skills and enabling them to attain greater levels of professional competence and confidence.
Founded by Vajdi Educational Society in the year 1999 CDSH has established firm credentials as an exemplary educational institution emulating high standards of academic excellence. In just under a decade, CDSH has garnered recognition from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to provide professional education and training for students to attain the Masters Degree. The College is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya since inception, but as per the guidelines of the state government, getting affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. More than a mere qualification this recognition underscores this institution’s teaching -learning ambience, faculty excellence, graduate rating and high standard of academic brilliance and research.
This institute teaches students to emulate high professional benchmarks. They are also taught to heal with a humane touch. Students are trained to be self-reliant and yet serve the community at large.
CDSH is a collation of well-equipped dental clinic, laboratories, lecture-halls, residential quarters, hostels and libraries. At CDSH special care is taken to ensure that students pass out not only as excellent dentists but also as ideal citizens of the world. Set as it is on a 7.7 Acres campus of exquisite trees and flowering shrubs, it makes for a salubrious environment of study and patient care. Located picturesquely a top the Jhoomer Ghat hills commanding a panoramic view to the institute look like a picnic spot especially during monsoon.
This college believes in training the students not only to excel as Dental Surgeons but also as responsible ladies and gentlemen who will blend into today’s competitive social fabric. This institute also believes in training them for today’s international market as efficient doctors, managers, administrators, marketing strategists and above all as, beautiful human beings.
