Today, at Nigla Rehabilitation Centre, we were deeply honored to host the “Rebuild & Rise: Life After De-Addiction” awareness and motivational program organized by the Papum Pare (Rural) Police in collaboration with the team from Balijan Police Station.
The program was led by the Officer-in-Charge of Balijan Police Station, Yangki Tenzin, who is also the first woman IPS officer of Arunachal Pradesh whose presence and dedication towards the rehabilitation and upliftment of recovering individuals inspired everyone present today.
We were also privileged to welcome Sh. Taru Gusar, SP Papumpare who delivered a powerful and heartfelt address on rebuilding life after addiction, discipline, self-respect, and the importance of second chances. His words brought encouragement and hope to all our clients and staff members.
The event was further enriched by the presence of several respected resource persons and guests including:
• Advocate Taba Zim (Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Service Authority), who spoke about legal awareness, rights, and the importance of making responsible life choices.
• Dr. Tadar Amar (All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association), who shared valuable insights on mental health, emotional healing, and psychological recovery during the rehabilitation journey.
• Linkam Markia (Founder Itamoto Travel Pvt. Lmt.) , who motivated our clients with inspiring words about hard work, purpose, and creating a meaningful future.
• Members and athletes from the Arunachal Pro Boxer community who encouraged our clients to channel their energy into positive and disciplined lifestyles.
A special highlight of the program was the motivational interaction and live demonstration on MMA and boxing conducted by:
• Mark Tamang
• Jeta Tachiring Cherom
• Giogi Juna
Their demonstration showcased the values of discipline, strength, focus, and perseverance — qualities that are equally important in the journey of recovery and sobriety.
We at Nigla Rehabilitation Centre are sincerely grateful to every dignitary, officer, guest speaker, athlete, and participant who took their valuable time to stand with our clients and inspire them towards a better future.
Programs like these remind us that recovery is possible when society, law enforcement, professionals, and the community come together with compassion, guidance, and support.
