Focusing on the above Concept Expert lecture on *"GLOBAL EFFECT OF PLASTIC WASTE ON BIODIVERSITY* " was conducted by
*Er.ABHIRAJ VISHWAKARMA* ,Senior Executive, Operational Department,WTE MSW Plant Kathonda Jabalpur

*Key points* of session were how plastic contaminate soil, water, and food sources & its decomposition and incineration can release harmful chemicals into the environment, impacting biodiversity.Addressing this crisis requires multiple approaches like public awareness, reducing plastic consumption Improving waste management & enforcing regulations.

An Industrial visit to *BMW plant* and *Waste to energy plant* kathonda Jabalpur.
The main aim of the visit was to understand and observe the processes involved in managing and disposing of medical waste and general waste safely and effectively. This includes seeing how medical waste is collected, segregated, treated, and ultimately disposed of to minimize risks to human health and the environment.
How general waste materials are converted into usable electricity and footpath bricks.
Experts were Mr.Dharmendra Dubey HR department.
Mr.Ajay Sr.(Executive Electrical dept).Mr.Deepak Sr.Executive (Operational dept).
Beneficiaries were BSc Nursing and GNM student

Regional Institute Of Nursing observed World Health Day on 7th April 2025 by a bifold activity .we organised Maternal Awareness campaign on the theme "Healthy beginning, and Hopeful Futures" through role play at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical hospital .It also included poster exhibition on theme with Emerson of B.S.c Nursing students under the guidance of Miss Ankita Rajpoot (Tutor) and Miss Amisha Patle (Tutor)
This activity aimed to educate people about maternal and newborn health. There was an overwhelming response form the patients and family members .

*Women Health Is One Of Prime Health Indicator Of A Country*

Regional Institute of Nursing in Collaboration with the BIPS Institute OF Paramedical Sciences conducted an *Anemia Awareness Health* *Camp emplaced in Nunsar* , Jabalpur on 11/3/2025
Activities of the camp were for pregnant women and adolescent girls which included reproductive health screening,,Hb testing, Health Talk and
awareness skit. The health experts from Patan and civil hospital,Ranjhi also participated.
B.Sc Nursing students were in immersion for the camp along with paramedical students.
The overwhelming response was there by the community. More than 50 beneficiaries benefitted from the camp.

Dr Vinitha Suresh, Professor and Ms .Amisha Patle,Tutor..
The camp was assisted by Mrs Divanjali, Mrs.Akansha Shrivas,Tutors.Regional Institute Of Nursing and Mr.Abhishek Jain ,Faculty BIPMS.

To Observe *"World Obesity Day, "* theme 2025 " *Changing systems* *Healthier lives* "an Expert talk by *Ms.Sakshi *Awasthi**Dietician Baderia Metro prime Multi-speciality Hospital, was organised by Prof.Pooja Nair & Ms.Amisha Patle ( Tutor) Regional Institute Of Nursing.
Expert emphasized that obesity is not just a cosmetic concern, but a serious medical condition with significant health risks, requiring a comprehensive approach to prevention and management through lifestyle changes, including a balanced diet, BMI monitoring and regular physical activity. The beneficiaries were Faculty, Bsc Nursing & GNM students.
