Why a Doctor?
Growing up, I always looked up to my father, who is an orthopedic surgeon. Watching him treat patients with dedication and care became my first inspiration to pursue an MBBS.
When the time came for PMT and other entrance exams, I couldn’t clear them on my first attempt. Yes…I couldn’t 😐. After two years of waiting, persistence and patience, I was finally selected at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha—a turning point in my life.
I was an average student academically, but I was always active on multiple fronts. From 2005 to 2010, I completed my MBBS and was fortunate to graduate with a distinction in Microbiology.
While I was happy, I was also unsure about which specialty to choose for post-graduation.
What always drew me most toward this profession was the empathy it demands—the ability to connect with patients. Seeing a patient smile and recover has always been the most rewarding feeling for me.
At the beginning of this journey, I never imagined I would be here today, smiling and sharing this part of my life with all of you.
Stay tuned to see how this story unfolds.
