Post covid complications in maxillofacial regions

Post COVID-19 complication in Maxillofacial region.
Few days after covid patient was unable to eat with pain and mobility in teeth.
Patients having history of diabetes and presented with uncontrolled diabetes.
On oral examination multiple discharging sinuses with mobile teeth were seen in maxilla unilaterally or bilaterally both. 3D CT scan revealed multiple irregular osteolytic lesions involving a major part of maxilla with maxillary sinus.
Under local anaesthesia, Affected teeth were extracted, infected sinus linning was removed, curettage was done. Histopathological examinations were done from multiple sites like bone, granulation tissue, sinus linning, which were suggestive of *Avascular Necrosis in Maxilla*, Ruling out any fungal or malignant lesion.

A rare and severe complication of post covid -19 infection in maxillofacial resion due to impaired vascular supply in minor blood vessels of maxillary resion with super added sinus infection associated with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
