Dr. Rishav Bansal is a Consultant and Head of the department of Geriatric Medicine at Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital (SDMH), Jaipur. He is a Geriatrician (Senior Citizen Specialist).

Dr Bansal completed his MBBS and MD-Geriatric Medicine from the prestigious institute of AIIMS-DELHI. After post-graduation, he worked in AIIMS-Delhi
for 3 years as a senior doctor in the Geriatric Medicine department. He is the 1st MD of Geriatric Medicine in Rajasthan. He has special knowledge of the ageing process and special skills in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention & rehabilitation of illness in the senior citizens and elderly.

Given the medical complexity of older adults, he helps in making a difference in a senior citizen’s level of independence, well-being & quality of life.
