SDMH came into being on November 29, 1971, and was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Smt. It was immediately dedicated to the nation as India was then in the throes of a war with Pakistan. It was the first private hospital of the State. It commenced operations
modestly and unassumingly – with 80 beds and 6 specialities. The Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur, popularly known as SD

Having served for five decades now, SDMH has gradually evolved into a multidisciplinary, 500-bedded, tertiary care hospital. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh, recently joined as a Senior Consultant, to the Department of Radiation Oncology at SDMH.

With over 17 years of expertise in advanced radiation techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, Rapid Arc, SRS, and SRT, Dr. Singh brings a wealth of knowledge and precision to cancer care. He holds an MBBS from JLN Medical College, Ajmer, and a DNB in Radiation Oncology from Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Jaipur, with a senior residency from SGPGI, Lucknow.

His key areas of focus include gynaecological malignancies and brachytherapy (ICA, MUPIT). Dr. Singh has also pursued advanced training through ESTRO-AROI courses and international masterclasses in re**al cancer and soft tissue sarcoma brachytherapy.

An avid academic, he has contributed to several national and international publications, reinforcing his commitment to clinical excellence and continuous learning.
