Physically challenged lady having bilateral mature cataract with multiple co morbidities unable to lie supine was operated successfully for phaco under topical anaesthesia. Thanks to Almighty and our team for taking care of such needy patients.

Diabetic Retinopathy screening camp at our hospital to increase awareness among patients and picking up the disease early. Patients were screened and advised treatment and follow up accordingly.

Recently we came across a young 30 years old patient with special needs having mature cataract. He was very apprehensive and reluctant for examination. But his family, especially brothers who have been looking after him since he was a child were very caring and keen for his surgery. Our hospital team took it as challenge to operate him. Kudos to our anaesthetist and staff as we operated him successfully. Post surgery next day his smile says it all. Thanks to Almighty for providing us the opportunity to serve needy patients like him and successfully completing our 4 years of service to the community. Patient with high myopia (-12.0 RE and -11.0LE), unfit for Lasik wanted his glasses removed. After workup, he was advised implantable phakic contact lens( IPCL). Both eye surgeries were done 1 week apart. Now unaided visual acuity is 6/6 both eyes. Patient is very happy and satisfied. All advanced options for spectacles removal like IPCL, Toric IPCL, RLE with Trifocal/Toric/EDOF IOLs are available at DR ABID EYE CARE

Squint is an ocular condition in which there is deviation in the direction of the gaze . Usually it presents in early childhood. If corrected early, results in better visual and cosmetic outcome. Picture below of 10 yrs old girl with infantile esotropia having some vertical deviation as well. Post operative girl's eyes look pretty straight.
