The Gravitational Pull of Toxic People

In the vast expanse of human interactions, toxic people resemble black holes, stealthily exerting a gravitational pull that drains the positive energy around them. Much like these cosmic phenomena, toxic individuals consume the optimism and vitality of those in their orbit, leaving behind a void of negativity and despair. Recognizing their presence and establishing healthy boundaries becomes paramount to safeguard one's well-being and preserve the radiance of positivity in our lives.

Overcoming Procrastination

How to get rid of PROCRASTINATION

Procrastination can be a difficult habit to break, but there are several strategies you can try to help you overcome it. Here are some tips:

1* Set clear goals: Clearly define what you want to accomplish and set specific deadlines for yourself. This will help you stay focused and avoid distractions.

2* Break tasks into smaller steps: Big tasks can be overwhelming and make it easier to procrastinate. Break them down into smaller, more manageable tasks and work on them one at a time.

3* Eliminate distractions: Identify what distracts you and eliminate or reduce them. This might mean turning off your phone, closing unnecessary tabs on your computer, or finding a quieter workspace.

4* Find your motivation: Identify why you want to complete a task and focus on the benefits you will gain from finishing it. This can help you stay motivated and avoid procrastination.

5* Use a timer: Set a timer for a specific amount of time and work on a task until the timer goes off. This can help you stay focused and avoid getting sidetracked.

6* Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself and don't beat yourself up if you do procrastinate. Recognize that it's a common habit and try again next time.

7* Seek support: Talk to a Therapist, friend, colleague, or mentor who can help keep you accountable and motivated.

Remember, it's okay to take breaks and not be productive all the time. But if procrastination is causing you stress or preventing you from achieving your goals, these tips can help you break the habit.👍🏻

Polarized thinking( All or None)

Sometimes these thoughts called all-or-nothing, or black and white thinking, this distortion occurs when people habitually think in extremes.

When you’re convinced that you’re either destined for success or doomed to failure, that the people in your life are either angelic or evil, good or bad.Thats mean you’re probably engaging in polarized thinking. All or none phenomena.

This kind of distortion is unrealistic and often unhelpful because most of the time reality exists somewhere between the two extremes.
